I did not get what I ordered. I was also charged for dinner and a 15 % tip with 3 people. They charged $4 for coke in the bottle?? She never asked if they wanted fountain coke of bottle from who knows. Never came back after dropping off food to check on us. I also had to go to her to get my bill then agin back to her to pay bill????
Consistently good food! Quick and friendly service. Don’t sleep on this one!

El Campesino Mexican Restaurant offers excellent, authentic food with generous portions. The menu is very authentic and has amazing breakfast options at affordable prices. The friendly staff provides great service in a clean and quiet atmosphere. The shrimp tacos are out of this world delicious! They typically have a few different flavors of "rice water," all of which are awesome. Unlike other restaurants nearby, their pineapple rice water is actually pineapple and not melon water. Don't miss out on their homemade gordita and sope shells! This place is a hidden gem in the rough so definitely give it a try if you're in the area! The location has its own parking lot with 2 entrances, one off Michigan and the other off Parker near the alley. The entryway is wheelchair friendly and accessible, as well as ample parking that work for handicap needs. Don't miss out on the 2 carne asada supreme tacos that come with rice and beans. The food on point and the business is very nice. The chicken quesadilla and steak burrito were good. The red sauce is not spicy but still good. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants tried.
