A hidden secret in Indy. I first visited a few months ago with a friend and the pupusas are fresh and made to order. Visited again today and the pupusas were so good and fresh. It’s a small local owned business and there is usually only one waitress/cashier and one cook. The waitress is always pleasant when I am there, even when other patrons are rude or demanding. If you like El Salvadorian food you have to go to Pupuseria El Pulgarcito Restaurant#2 on Indy’s East side! Everything I ordered was amazing: shrimp pupusas, chicken pupusas, chicken tamales, cheese pupusas, and guacamole with plantains! And almost each item runs you about $3 or less! My whole family devoured our meal! I don’t know why there’s so many comments on how bad the service was but I had great customer service and was even asked how my meal was before I left. The food was delicious and they have probably the best chicharones I’ve ever had. The only con is the place is extremely small with no windows.
