We had Chole Bhature ( Chickpea curry & Indian bread) and Fish Pakoda. The food was good and the spice level was balanced.
When I arrived, I wondered how the food would be. The place looked more like a truck stop than a restaurant. But after my first bite, I realized this was authentic Punjabi food.

Most Punjabi restaurants in the U.S. rely on pre-made or frozen gravies. This place was different—the food tasted fresh, homemade, and full of authentic flavors. If you’re looking for real Punjabi food rather than the usual frozen-gravy style, this place is definitely worth a visit.
I recently visited Mitran Da Dhaba craving authentic North Indian comfort food, and left thoroughly impressed. Nestled outside Indianapolis, the restaurant instantly transported me back to India without feeling gimmicky.
