Sat in the front and was greeted immediately. Ordered Sushi/Sashimi Combo. Came with miso soup and ginger dressing salad. All was Amazing! And all for under $30!
Have always loved kabutos, but this time I had only one minor issue. Me and a small group of family went to celebrate for ny birthday dinner, and i felt left out i suppose? The cook for the table that was sat immediately before us (like. 20 people, also for a birthday) got this cook that was so insane. he was doing all kinds of tricks and fun stuff and all the classic tricks. We've been to Kabuto 4 times. The first 3 visits were great, but our most recent one not so much. The chef was amazing at his job, except on food quantity distribution. There were 3 different guest groups sitting at the same table, and since my group was the last one on the distribution, we got the smallest amount of food where as the first ones got their plates almost overflowing with food.

Kabuto Japanese Steak House offers excellent hibachi grilled food with entertaining chefs. The wait staff is nice and patient, making it ideal for both large groups and date nights. The chefs are humorous and engaging, creating a fun atmosphere. While the flames may scare infants, the overall experience is enjoyable. The place is well staffed and very clean, providing a good time for guests. Although prices have increased by $5-10 on every meal over the years, the quality and service have remained consistent. The new cooks sometimes burn or undercook the food, which comes with experience, but the chefs like Tom continue to deliver flawless cooking and engaging interactions, including with shy children. The environment can be loud with lots of talking and background noise, but it’s still a great place to eat. For a guaranteed full belly and a smile on your face, Kabuto is the place to be, especially if you dine with a talented chef like Tom.
