The waitress was so delightful 😊 very kind and attentive. She made sure our food was correct and also let us know what kinds of fish we ordered (it was part of the sushi/sashimi chefs choice).
The food was great.
We got the beef udon, sushi & sashimi combo, 2pc oyster special and 2 bottles of sparkling peach sake.
We had no leftovers!
The vibes of the place were chill.
Went on a Thursday night at 8p.
The place was nice and very clean.
Few others there eating but nothing crazy.“

The food is fresh and delicious and I love the variety of sauces to make your food your own. My husband loves salt and I don’t so it was the perfect meal.“

“Really enjoyed my first visit to this restaurant! Came in for a stir fry bowl to go and was directed to their lunch buffet to assemble whatever combination I wanted for the stir fry. There were even more options than were listed on the menu, and all of the produce and meat was very fresh. Also had a ton of sauce options, even more than was listed on their menu. For lunch, you pay for your stir fry by the pound after it's done cooking, so I was able to get two substantial stir fries for $23. The food also taste phenomenal and I love that I can customize how many veggies I want. We were very impressed with this restaurant and will definitely be back!“

“This is easily the best sushi restaurant in Indianapolis! The sushi was incredibly fresh and high quality, and the rolls were the perfect size,small, just as they should be. Everything was absolutely spectacular and we definitely need to come back to try more.

“I love Homey! This location specifically. I've had a lot of hotpots around Indy and this is the BEST hands down from the broth selections to the options of what to put in it. The section to put your sauce together is always stocked up well and I've never had a bad meal there! My soup is always amazing and the broth at the end is the best part. I wish I could afford it more than once a month. Actually, I'm probably coming this weekend now. It's always too long in between visits.“

“Went for the soft opening on 7/16 with my husband and mom. We were very pleasantly surprised! We had a very warm welcome from the staff. The decor and music were nice. The restaurant was bright and clean. Drinks were on our table within just a few minutes. We ordered salad, gyoza, 5 sushi rolls, and a sashimi combo platter. All the food came out pretty quickly. This was the freshest sushi I’ve ever had in Indy, and it was so delicious! This is a bit of a drive for me (45 minutes) but we will definitely be back to try other items on the menu!“

“Found this place on door dash. Realized it was 5 minutes from my house. First impression was amazing. Food was made fresh, quick, and tastes phenomenal. Atmosphere was very chill and employees were very nice. I will definetly be coming back!“

“Have always loved kabutos, but this time I had only one minor issue. Me and a small group of family went to celebrate for ny birthday dinner, and i felt left out i suppose? The cook for the table that was sat immediately before us (like. 20 people, also for a birthday) got this cook that was so insane. he was doing all kinds of tricks and fun stuff and all the classic tricks. Our chef was wonderful, dont get me wrong, but he was just cookin. My spouse had never been to this style restaurant before, and i had been talking it up all week. They were minimally impressed. And maybe it is a bit selfish, but I was looking forward to having fun tricks at my birthday dinner too. Will ofc come back but it was definitely a bit disappointing.“

“I’ve been to a few fancy sushi restaurants and none of them pair up to my absolute favorite sushi place Kasai!! I usually order to go and my food is ALWAYS delicious, made perfectly with what I can only assume is love added in. This will always be my go to place 💕 thank you for being great and for not judging me when I order the same thing twice in a row because it’s just that good.“
