“My girlfriend and I tried this place in search of some good sushi. We had 5 different rolls between the two of us and they were all kinda mid. The fish and seafood used tasted fresh however. It was good food but not necessarily anything special. The aesthetic of the place was amazing. It felt modern and on the cusp of high end but still casual enough. Would probably go again.“

“This is easily the best sushi restaurant in Indianapolis! The sushi was incredibly fresh and high quality, and the rolls were the perfect size,small, just as they should be. Everything was absolutely spectacular and we definitely need to come back to try more.

“Went for the soft opening on 7/16 with my husband and mom. We were very pleasantly surprised! We had a very warm welcome from the staff. The decor and music were nice. The restaurant was bright and clean. Drinks were on our table within just a few minutes. We ordered salad, gyoza, 5 sushi rolls, and a sashimi combo platter. All the food came out pretty quickly. This was the freshest sushi I’ve ever had in Indy, and it was so delicious! This is a bit of a drive for me (45 minutes) but we will definitely be back to try other items on the menu!“

Challenge accepted so here was my monstrosity 🤣🤣🤣🤣 it made the staff laugh so much. They got a kick out of it I'm sure. That stack didn't move even when I bumped or like three times. Needless to say I didn't finish it all but I knew that. I just had fun making our surrounding table get in on the fun with her and I making fun of the bowl while they encouraged my foolishness! 😂😂😂 Five starts for the staff, chef, and food. The general tso and hibachi sauce was great mixed and add some garlic from the sauces and of course you have to season the food. Or was great but the fortune cookie supplier owns them some money our fortunes were missing from cookies and cut in half 😂 so I will be back. I keep trying different ones across town. This is onlyy second trip to one. I can say that stack was impressive for a newbie!!“

“I love Homey! This location specifically. I've had a lot of hotpots around Indy and this is the BEST hands down from the broth selections to the options of what to put in it. The section to put your sauce together is always stocked up well and I've never had a bad meal there! My soup is always amazing and the broth at the end is the best part. I wish I could afford it more than once a month. Actually, I'm probably coming this weekend now. It's always too long in between visits.“

“Have always loved kabutos, but this time I had only one minor issue. Me and a small group of family went to celebrate for ny birthday dinner, and i felt left out i suppose? The cook for the table that was sat immediately before us (like. 20 people, also for a birthday) got this cook that was so insane. he was doing all kinds of tricks and fun stuff and all the classic tricks. Our chef was wonderful, dont get me wrong, but he was just cookin. My spouse had never been to this style restaurant before, and i had been talking it up all week. They were minimally impressed. And maybe it is a bit selfish, but I was looking forward to having fun tricks at my birthday dinner too. Will ofc come back but it was definitely a bit disappointing.“

I usually order to go and my food is ALWAYS delicious, made perfectly with what I can only assume is love added in. This will always be my go to place 💕 thank you for being great and for not judging me when I order the same thing twice in a row because it’s just that good.“
