Kind of a dive but it's OK because their food is really good. We had the sweet corn tamale, so good! A chorizo & cheese pupusa, delicious! Shrimp ceviche, different from any I've had before but good (seemed like it had lots of celery seed & or salt, was very soupy, & very fresh). My husband had el tipico which was griddle top cooked steak & chicken (both very thin, well done, a little dry, but tender & well seasoned), shrimp, rice, beans (best refried beans I've ever had), & salad.
The food was amazing. My husband i went here tonight for our anniversary and were very happy with the service. Even with the language difference its was very professional and the staff did an amazing job. Would highly recommend for fans of authentic foods.

This is an authentic Salvadorian restaurant! Se habla Español; meaning they speak Spanish here. At times someone who speaks English is there but for the most part expect to receive your service in Spanish. The pupusas are the best in the city. They're always made fresh and are super soft and tasty. You can try their other dishes if you wish to have a more diverse meal, however I only go for the pupusas.
