There is nothing like the taste of Long's Bakery's donuts, brownies, and other bakery items. The biggest problem is wanting to. It more than you can eat. LOL. To make things even more enjoyable has been the staff. I have never met anyone more friendly and helpful. They have all kinds of patience as they wait on me to make up my mind to place my order.
An Indianapolis icon, Long's is a chain but I like this particular store even though the rather small parking lot sometimes gets crowded. Service is usually pretty fast even when there's a long line. The pastries are very good. Beware, though, it is cash-only.Parking: It has a fairly small lot, which fills up when they're really busy, and the alternative city lot is about a block away
