Papa John's in Indianapolis

“I ordered a pizza around 11:30 pm tonight. I got a notification that it would be delivered through DoorDash (which i have the WORST luck with). An hour goes by, no update on the order. I called the store and spoke to Chris, who was extremely kind. He said the order had been ready but they were just waiting on a dasher to pick it up. Honestly at that point, I figured I wasn’t going to get my order. 20 minutes later (12:50 am at this point) Chris calls me back to tell me he confirmed a driver was on the way. He apologized profusely and said he was going to remake the pizza so it was fresh. He went above and beyond, especially as they were 10 minutes from closing and the entire situation was out of his control. Thank you Chris!!!“

“I eat at the Papa Johns on Ditch Rd. often. I order Pineapple Pepperoni Pizza with extra pepperoncinis. I also deliver door dash for this Papa Johns too when I need extra money. The establishment is always clean. They always get the order right. They are always fast, they don't make me wait, and the most important thing is, the food is always delicious. They put the right amount of toppings on the pizza. I've been on a pizza eating binge lately, eating pizza every day, or every other day, and this is where I buy my pizza.“

“Recently had a large order right at opening for my staff. Employee named Dalton was very prompt with helping secure this order. Order was fulfilled extremely fast and he even provided plates and napkins! Very happy, will order again. Major asset to the team!“

“We ordered a couple pizzas and sides from here today and our food was stolen by the doordasher. We tried calling the dasher and could see her driving further and further away with our order. 1.5 hours after we ordered, and 45 mins after it should’ve been here… we called the shop and told them what happened. The lady who answered the phone was so nice and refunded our money AND had our order delivered to us by their own driver. The food was fresh, hot, and although the experience sucked (my kids were losing it at this point), we finally got our food around 8P.

Top notch way to handle the situation that was beyond all of our control. I’ll definitely just order straight from the store moving forward.

“As a DoorDash driver, I have the luxury of visiting all of these fast food and restaurant establishments, and I can see the best or the worst of their customer service. If they can treat a driver with respect you already know they can treat a customer with the highest respect… This location does things the right way I give them to thumb thumbs up!“

“Papa John's, although not pizza hut or domino's has the type of pizza you crave when you need savory and sweet. The sweet sauce combined with the bread cheese and toppings does a great pizza make. I love bone in baked chicken wings so what ever you preference let it be known. Papa John's is there to serve you.“

“Kirsten, As well as her Manager and the rest of the team over at the Shadeland location, we’re absolutely amazing this evening. I had placed an order last night through a delivery service and they completely dropped a ball. Literally had a cat all in my box of pizza That was left on the ground…. I called to the location. “I placed my order online and I got to the restaurant a little bit early and my food was still cooking. There was an associate there named Kirsten. It seemed like she was by herself. She had a big smile and was so friendly. I let her know I was going to wait in my car until the pizza was ready. About 5 minutes later I looked over and she was standing at my car window with my order. I didn't even have to go back in the restaurant. I thought that was really nice of her. 100% will go back to that location. I just moved to a new neighborhood and haven't gone to this location but one other time. Kirsten made my experience a positive one. My medium pizza and breadsticks were cooked to perfection.“

“You have to double check the order but usually everything comes correctly. The food is top quality even reheated. I live less than two miles away but cannot drive all the time and refuse to walk... (disabled). The place I live is really complicated but they handle directions like champs each time. The food is scorching fresh hot and they are always kind. We always get 16 wings, two big pizzas sometimes multiple toppings, and other sides, and pop. It is around 60/65 which is really good price. Tip driver 10 for being awesome. I only gave a three star for atmosphere because my friend stated when she was in the building once that she struggled to order and they were nice but rushed and short. Her order had to be fixed for something simple. I have never had anything but 5 star service.“

“Great pizza and fast service. Called in an order on a busy Saturday evening and was told it would be ready in 16 minutes. I thought to myself there’s no way. I arrived at the store 15 minutes later to find that it was indeed ready. Fastest Papa John’s location that I have ever been to! 👍“

“Uber messed up on their end with a Pizza Special. I added beef on one pizza and paid extra but when called it was not showing on there. When I called, Rick said he would fix that for me and treated my issue with respect and professionalism. Thanks Rick!“

“I am a regular and I have to say hands down Teressa is an amazing worker in there. She is so kind ,very helpful, and cares. She gets you what u need and get you out of the store in a fashion timely manner!! She actually cares about us customers . Thanks Teressa for being such a hard working caring person! “I ordered a pizza from this location instead of the 1630 e Southport location, and when I went to pick it up and realized my mistake and called this store to let them know I wouldn’t be picking it up.
Devon that answered the phone was so nice and helpful 10/10 customer service. I will hopefully actually be able to get the pizza from this location next time!“

“I was quite disappointed when I made my order and my points did not get applied, despite my selection to do so, via the app. However, the food arrived shockingly fast and the driver was extremely courteous and had a very positive attitude, a rarity for Indianapolis. If there was a way to have my order corrected and my points applied to the purchase, I would ask that the $20 I paid go to the driver for the exceptional service.I would also like to make the recommendation for adjusting the tip amount after the period of delivery as the standard tip I gave was given under the expectation of a standard delivery and I would have liked the option to update the amount according.“

“Robert earned an A+++ for customer service! On one of the busiest pizza nights, before the Peach Bowl, this place was packed, with screen after screen of orders. The team was working smoothly and with urgency. Robert showed great leadership by example.“

“I cannot recommend this place enough. As anyone that knows me is aware, I'm not typically a chain person. I like supporting local. However, this store went above and beyond for me and my employees. We had placed a large order and they worked with me on a price that was within budget and helped us save money while still serving our students.

Long story short, we ended up having to cancel the order at the last moment due to a miscommunication issue. The error was 100% our fault and yet, they allowed us to make this change. We bought and picked up the pizzas that had already been made and were very gracious to us. I felt incredibly bad for having to change the order at the last minute, but they were so professional and helpful to us. I will definitely be going back to them more now as they totally deserve it and earned my repeat business.

Yes, I know that cancelling at the last minute is not fair to them. I get it. And if I could have still bought all of the pizzas, I would have, but my hands were tied. I am beyond grateful, as was my department and company, that they were able to help us out. Thank you again management and all of your staff for your hard work, dedication and still greeting us with a smile.“

“Honestly I had not had pizza from PapaJohns in years but was traveling home and stopped at a location just outside of Chicago.

Me and the spouse split a small pepperoni and the staff there were outstanding and the pizza was well cooked and not too expensive.

Was a great little unexpected side stop after about 12 hours of driving. I will always remember that PapaJohns lol.“
