“The two pizzas we got (one was gluten-free crust) were delicious… well made with plenty of toppings. The service could have been better. I placed our order online three hours in advance. I arrived at the scheduled time to pick up my pizzas, and had received a text from Papa John’s a couple of minutes before I got there saying my order was ready for pickup. When I entered the store there were several customers waiting in the lobby, and lots of employees preparing pizzas, folding boxes and apparently looking for things to do to keep busy. But the woman at the cash register seemed confused about what she was doing (maybe she was a new employee?) and was beyond slow. I stood there for ten minutes while my prepaid pizzas sat getting cold. A manager should have noticed the backlog of customers standing around and helped get things moving. I’m hoping it was an isolated happening, and I plan to go there again and give them another chance. Again, the pizzas were really good.“
