I love this zoo! It's the best Zoo pit there. I really enjoy how they have hand on with the sea life by touching rays and shark and being close to the animal out doors woth the monkeys other animals. If I lived closer, I would go every day.
We are visiting in Indianapolis for the Drum Corp International finals, and were looking around for something to do the day before. Wow, we chose well!!!!!! This is a really quality zoo!!!!! And we love a good zoo for sure. It was clean, animals looked extremely well cared for, and relaxed - sure sign of excellent care. Our favorite show was the macaws, if you haven't seen it I don't want to give it away :D but it was spectacular, so be sure to time yourself to be at the exhibit...read full review

It was a beautiful day at the zoo! I have always loved going to zoos. I think the Indianapolis Zoo has done a good job giving animals nice, well kept areas being a zoo located within a big city. I am always a little disappointed when animals are temporary not on display, but understand this happens for various reasons. I also wish discounts for tickets were given to members. Can't wait to visit again.
