We stopped at Cafe on the Commons for a late lunch while visiting the Indianapolis Zoo on a beautiful fall day. Since ZooBoo was going on, they had some fun Halloween-themed food options. Of course, I had to try the Midnight Burger! I was the only one in our group brave enough to give it a try. It definitely looked a little spooky, but that’s part of the fun! A little expensive but we were at the zoo!
You expect to pay more when you’re at a zoo or a museum, but the best ones lessen the sting by giving you a slightly more premium product. This was not that.
Fries were mid at best, and it was probably the worst cheeseburger I’ve ever had. Cold meat, hard as rock bun that was who knows how old.
