I went inside to order dinner for my parents due to the drive thru Lume being extremely long. I had to wait 13 minutes for my order, so I sat inside and had time to look at the store and it was filthy, there was not one table clean, they all had food and trash on every one of them. If it weren't what they wanted I would've went somewhere else.
The food was hot and fresh. They were out of coleslaw. They were short staffed, so the food took a lot longer than expected. The drink machine out front must have been out of order since they had to get drinks for you. Just not a very friendly experience.

I've gone to this particular Popeyes on East Washington Street about four times now and I used to go to the one on 38th and Keystone and the one in Castleton and the one on 71st and Michigan but this one is the best. Their food is always fresh. And you can tell that the manager runs that crew well. They are polite, they don't get an attitude when there is the slightest mistake, they simply fix it with no excuses.
