The Jollof Buka Reviews
My colleagues and I visited this restaurant while we were in town. We arrived during the evening rush and waited about an hour for our food, which the server explained was due to how busy they were. One thing that stood out was that we weren't offered complimentary table water while waiting, which was surprising for a dine-in restaurant.
We ordered jollof rice and fried rice with different proteins (fish, goat meat, and beef), while one person ordered plantain with a protein....read full review

The Jollof Buka is a highly recommended African restaurant that offers a delightful dining experience. The menu features a variety of dishes, including the flavorful Egusi (very spicy with pork) and Ayamashe (medium spicy), with the best dish being Moi Moi, all of which receive high praise. The Jollof rice has all the familiar flavors, although some diners wish it had a bit more heat. The Fufu, while lacking in taste, complements the dishes well, and the Rice has a smoky flavor. The restaurant boasts excellent service, with friendly and courteous staff who kindly welcome guests and help them navigate the menu. The atmosphere is cool, making it a hidden gem worth visiting. The protein portions are suitable for the price, but some customers have mentioned that the meat can be very tough and hard to chew. The Puff Puff is good with mild sweetness. Overall, it is a good dining experience, though some guests have noted the food can be extremely spicy, so it's best to state personal spice tolerance when ordering. Parking is available behind the building, though it is not well-lit, so guests may prefer to park in front.
