Yo Mama Roux

So I had a coworker who ordered from this spot. I actually had their original place, Papa Roux's. It's very similar to it I got a little kick to it. Love it however there's too many things they have a little bite to it. I rather just enjoy the flavor of the food rather than just have me sweating and reaching for milk. It's just my opinion but the food is great desserts a good and the ladies kept the spirit of the original intact!

Instead of reading a useless review from someone that has never had Yo Mama's food but only there to pick up via delivery service, I will give an honest review. We have been going for years and this is the best food!! Try the pulled chicken or the vouxdoux shrimp or gator or crawfish or oyster (the list goes on) on french bread or a wrap. This is hands down the best Creole/Cajun Restaurant this side of Lake Pontchartrain. The restaurant and staff are intentionally small. The staff knows nearly every customer by name because so many of us return time after time to eat there.Great menu variety with daily specials.
