“our favorite place to eat, have been here many times. Came in town for a concert and made reservations over a week ago, when we got there, no reservation had been kept. The girl was extremely rude and I asked why we made a reservation and it was not kept. She rudely stated we have been busy and haven't had a chance to put any reservations down on the tables, not sure how that happens. I was basically in shock at how rude she was, never had that happen before, really disappointed. I felt like I was in the Seinfeld episode, " You know how to take a reservation, but you don't know how to keep one?"”

“We did a pickup order on Mother’s Day. Phenomenal staff and establishment!! The owner saw that my husband was upset and she offered to pray with him. What a gift from God that prayer was that day! The food was hot when we got home and it was cooked to perfection! And I have a lot of dietary needs, and I can say that they cooked it perfectly. 10/10 for sure! We had the boil bags and a side order of crab legs and shrimp 🍤. Please go see them and I pray God blesses their establishment.”

Learned about it recently from all the rave reviews on Facebook and decided to gove it a try tomite. So glad we did! Came on Tuesdays' 1/2 off pizza night, so ordered a large pizza, a half order pulled pork nachos, and two sodas. Including 2 drinks. It was only $22. We got enough left over for at least two more, if not three complete 2-person meals! Even more importantly, the food was DELICIOUS - well-worth the full prices that are already reasonable.Those who said the pizza here is the best around aren't exaggerating. Atmosphere is friendly and cheerful. Our server Elliott was always a step ahead of our needs. This is our new favorite place”

“As someone who doesn’t like coffee or chocolate, that typically limits my “fun” drinks at local coffee shops—not the case at Modoc’s! I love their creative Lotus drinks and enjoy that they play with various matcha and chai flavor pairings. Their homemade goodies are tasty as well. A popular place for good drinks, local history, and a friendly atmosphere. You’ve got to check out their stellar rotating window decorations, too!”

“We had the pleasure of meeting Ella and Kensie at a wedding recently. They were in charge of the food. We got a chance to speak to them and they told us they work here at Moon Dog. We had a rare Thursday off, so we decided to pay them a visit. Both girls are absolutely lovely human beings! They were so kind, professional and wonderful! Their service was top notch. Anyway, a hole-in-the-wall small town ice cream shack like this is quintessential Midwest Americana. They offer a large flavor variety to compliment riding your bike around town, marrying your high school sweetheart, shooting pool at the local dive bar, or whichever one of life's iconic moments you choose. If John Hughes were still making movies and this existed in Chicago, I'm sure he'd write this great dessert establishment into the plot.”
