“our favorite place to eat, have been here many times. Came in town for a concert and made reservations over a week ago, when we got there, no reservation had been kept. The girl was extremely rude and I asked why we made a reservation and it was not kept. She rudely stated we have been busy and haven't had a chance to put any reservations down on the tables, not sure how that happens. I was basically in shock at how rude she was, never had that happen before, really disappointed. I felt like I was in the Seinfeld episode, " You know how to take a reservation, but you don't know how to keep one?"”

Learned about it recently from all the rave reviews on Facebook and decided to gove it a try tomite. So glad we did! Came on Tuesdays' 1/2 off pizza night, so ordered a large pizza, a half order pulled pork nachos, and two sodas. Including 2 drinks. It was only $22. We got enough left over for at least two more, if not three complete 2-person meals! Even more importantly, the food was DELICIOUS - well-worth the full prices that are already reasonable.Those who said the pizza here is the best around aren't exaggerating. Atmosphere is friendly and cheerful. Our server Elliott was always a step ahead of our needs. This is our new favorite place”

I love their creative Lotus drinks and enjoy that they play with various matcha and chai flavor pairings. Their homemade goodies are tasty as well. Anyway, a hole-in-the-wall small town ice cream shack like this is quintessential Midwest Americana. They offer a large flavor variety to compliment riding your bike around town, marrying your high school sweetheart, shooting pool at the local dive bar, or whichever one of life's iconic moments you choose. If John Hughes were still making movies and this existed in Chicago, I'm sure he'd write this great dessert establishment into the plot.”

“Ok we’ve been going to Trailside Treats for a while now and we simply love it . They have the very best chocolate/vanilla swirl I have ever had . My 88yr old mother thinks so too and she’s had her share of ice cream . Oh and did I mention they make their own waffle cones ? Yum”
