“Triple good 1) good food, 2) good beer, and finally good music that is played at the correct volume. You can hear it, plus you can talk with friends at your table. Just where else do you go that has all three? Plus a veteran staff, bartender, and even the owners at your very beck-n-call. If you know any place in Madison that qualifies on 'all three stages', you tell me where it is.“

“My cousin and I dined in on Sunday Aug. 3, 2025 for dinner. We shared the toasted ravioli and each had the amazing chicken parmesan. Our server was awesome but I'm afraid we didn't get her name. Y'all were very busy & while our appetizer came out quickly the entree's didn't but that was alright! She and I have both been in the food service business before...we get it! Our awesome server did choose to give us a discount for our long wait, which was very kind. We appreciated it! So thank you for amazing food, awesome service and extra kindness to some gals visiting your beautiful city!“
“Great atmosphere and awesome craft beer! This place has music every week featuring awesome local musicians!“
“As a 23-year-old just starting to learn about wines, visiting Thomas Family Winery in Madison, Indiana was such a cool and welcoming experience. The owner is incredibly passionate about what he does—you can tell he truly loves sharing not just the wine, but the history and story behind each bottle. He took the time to explain things in a way that didn’t feel intimidating, which made it easy to ask questions and actually learn. The atmosphere is cozy and rustic, and it feels like you’re hanging out with friends even if it’s your first time there. Everyone I met was super friendly and down-to-earth, which made the whole visit feel special. If you’re new to wine like me, this is definitely the kind of place that makes you want to keep learning.“

“We have only eaten there once but it was a great experience , my husband and I split a Rubin and it was the best I have ever had! My only disappointment was I went there for the seafood and corn chowder and I paid somewhere around $16.00 for a bowl of it. It seemed to me like it was made with small pieces of tuff shrimp, lots of potatoes and corn. It was not worth the money. I was very disappointed. I thought it would at least have cams with garlic bread considering what it cost . But I would definitely go back!“
