“If you go to Marengo Cave, Van's is right down the street for a VERY affordable small town restaurant vibe meal.

We got breakfast and was really pleased with everything. The portions were just right and the prices were very friendly!

We had to wait a little bit with empty coffee cups.

Be prepared with cash (possibly). If the internet and card reader is down then it is cash only. (But there is an ATM at the gas station next door.)“

“I know... what am I doing in English, Indiana? Lol, visiting the beautiful Patoka Lake, of course. Woke up and wanted breakfast! I'm a sucker for mom and pop shops, so the kid and I ventured through the beautiful countryside and found this hidden gem. We had something extremely basic, but those pancakes had to have been flipped by God himself! They were fluffy, hot, crispy, and buttery! The bacon was crispy and incredibly flavorful. I almost wanted to ask if someone was in the back slicing up the pig's stomach. Before we left, we got a togo for my better half. All I'm gonna say is get the cheese steak! They forgot the cheese, but by the time it was noticed, the sandwich was gone. We left there full and in great spirits! Good job y'all!“
