Soup in Michigan City

“Was on a group bus tour, we had dinner here. Called ahead, when we arrived had to wait about 15 min. Got seated and the manager was excellent, totally competent at her job, received top notch, fast service, very good delegated waiters, waitress to tables and we received prompt and fast service, good food. Never have seen someone perform their job so well.“

“I ordered a pick two meal through the app for drive-thru pickup the day before Thanksgiving. I got a message the order was delayed and thanked me for my patience. The restaurant was slammed for lunch with a full parking lot and the drive thru line of cars was moving slowly. I went inside to see if I could pick up my order faster. There was a long line of customers waiting to get their orders too. An employee gave me a cup for a free drink while I waited which was nice. All told it took 45 minutes from the time I placed the order until it was ready. It was apparent the staff was working hard to prepare everyone’s order as quickly as possible. With the holiday, shoppers, travelers, etc. at lunchtime, the restaurant was just overwhelmed. In my experience, this isn’t a regular occurrence at Panera and I appreciate the staff’s efforts to handle the surge of customers. This was likely an exception to the usual fast service and I will return to this Panera in the future. Thanks!“
