Casey & DJ are amazing owners but Amanda Ashton and really all the bartenders have been incredible with their service and have really been a big reason why this place continues to be amazing. The staff behind the scenes have been great and the kitchen staff knocks it out the park too!“

“This place is not quite the 5 stars that some are giving it, but it’s good, for sure. The giant mozz sticks are giant, but I thought they were a bit lacking in the flavor department, and I could not eat my food after that because it was so much cheese. the marinara was good though. I had shrimp tacos by recommendation, and they were quite underwhelming in the flavor department as well, but they had a fantastic variety of textures going on. The shrimp breading was tasteless. The Mac and cheese was epic, and so were the fried beans, but the grilled cheese was also a bit underwhelming. We also waited 30 minutes for a waiter to acknowledge us, but he did l apologize profusely for not realizing that we were one of his tables, so we weren’t upset.“

Came here after a Notre Dame game, and it's one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to in the US (I'm from Canada, where authentic Mexican restaurants are less plentiful). The service was only a tad slow-ish because the place was packed to the gills. Not their fault. Also, the tequila old fashioned was an interesting concept that didn't quite stick the landing. The margaritas rocked, though. Best ceviche I've had north of the southern Texas border.

“Wanted to try something new, Zing was a random pick and we couldn't have been happier. Food was delicious, staff was super friendly and helpful. Best Ramen broth I have had outside of more famous bigger city spots. Tried multiple entree's and app's along with a sushi roll, all were spectacular.“

From the moment we arrived, the warm, inviting atmosphere set the tone for an enjoyable evening. I started with a Bloody Mary, which was perfectly spiced and refreshing. For dinner, I chose the Bison meatloaf with bourbon, demi-glaze, mashed potatoes, and seasonal vegetables. The flavors were rich, comforting, and balanced, making every bite memorable. My husband opted for the chicken pot pie, and it was equally delicious with a flaky crust, hardy filling, and packed with flavor. “Went for lunch, it was quite busy. However, service was quick and nice. The aesthetic of the restaurant was very calm and relaxed. Very healthy portions for a price that is very economical. Pho was delicious and ingredients were well prepared and fresh. Would go again any time.“

“I recently revisited Monterrey Mexican Grill after several years, and it was just as fantastic as I remembered! The restaurant has been remodeled, and I love the new ambiance – it’s warm, inviting, and perfect for a night out.

One standout was the strawberry jalapeño margarita – absolutely delicious! The balance of sweet and spicy was spot on. Our server was very friendly and welcoming, though she could have been a bit more attentive. That said, she was clearly busy with other tables, so it was totally understandable.

Overall, this place remains a favorite, and I’m not sure why I don’t visit more often! Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and drinks in a cozy setting.“

“On my recent visit to Koto, I was met with a delightful dining experience that exceeded my expectations in every way. The evening began with a warm sake, which was absolutely delicious, a perfect start to the meal. Next came the lobster Rangoon, which I can confidently say was the best I've ever had. The crispy exterior and flavorful filling were nothing short of amazing. For the main course, I opted for the filet mignon hibachi, accompanied by fried rice, salad, and clear soup. I also had a side of noodles. The filet was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. The fried rice and vegetables were equally impressive, each bite full of flavor. The noodles were a comforting addition, complementing the meal beautifully. Koto’s atmosphere strikes a unique balance between casual and elegant, making it a perfect spot for both special occasions and a relaxed evening out. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. Although we chose to sit at a regular dinner table, I noticed they also offer hibachi tables for those seeking a more interactive dining experience.
