“My family and I stopped at Trish’s Red Bird cafe on our way through to Kentucky from out of state. Immediately you could sense the kindness of the staff and could tell they truly wanted you to have a wonderful experience. My kids were given crayons and coloring mats and my littlest a little basket of toys that kept her entertained the entire meal (not something that ever happens). There were so many great options to choose from when it came to the menu and all of my children quickly found something they were excited to eat. (Again a rarity). My kids absolutely loved the cheese pull of the grilled cheese and the onion rings and the sauce they come with are amazing our favorite out of the meal. Everyone left happy and with full tummies. Before leaving my kiddos were given a little gift that they absolutely love and chalk to take with to make pictures in memory of a young woman (family/ niece to the owner) who left this world way too soon. My heart goes out to the families for their loss, what a beautiful way of honoring her memory. Thank you for treating my family like family. This is the first review I’ve ever written and it still doesn’t feel like it does this place justice. If you’re looking for a wonderful family friendly place to stop and eat you won’t be disappointed with this place their historic connections to the town, little shop inside, their support of other local businesses, and truly the most genuinely kind customer service I’ve experienced in today’s world.”

“What happened to your donut shop. It totally stinks. Plastic icing. Not scratch baking. For example your blueberry donuts. The off the truck pies I swear are the same ones at Walmart. Terrible. More expensive than other shops in Lafayette. Bring back old shop”

“We live 2 hours away and were traveling through. Decided to try your pizza, and loved it! The guys working were very nice and friendly. I mentioned I would love to try the chicken bacon ranch pizza but my husband doesn’t like that so I ordered a pepperoni pizza and breadsticks. When my pizza was ready the gentleman handed me my order and said they made me a FREE personal chicken bacon ranch pizza to try. That was so generous! We will definitely come back next time we are passing through.”

“I traveled after work in a horrible snowstorm to my daughters house.Had not eaten at all. Needed food. They closed early, but the GM was wonderful. Made me a pizza after closing. He was a Godsend to a bad day. Can't say thank you enough. Wonderful person and a very good pizza. Thanks again.”

Parking: There is space to park but the lot is not striped so could be chaotic in the dark.

Kid-friendliness: Its a gas station.

Wheelchair accessibility: You will have no problems gettimg in. It is a little cramped inside. Not sure about the bathrooms.”

“one of the cleanest subways i’ve visited and all the food was fresh and well stored! Liz did an amazing job making my sandwich and was patient when i was ordering. she definitely deserves recognition and a raise!”

“Had bacon,turkey avocado wrap with fixings . It was good and service was adequate . My only thing is why a wrap costs so much more than a foot long sub, I would likely not buy it again for the 13.00 price which didn't include drink or chips.
