My favorite place for Biscuits and gravy had always been the Hob Nob in Nashville, IN. It recently closed down and I was so disappointed. My wife came here last weekend and said I had to tey the biscuits and gravy here. I swear it tastes just like the hob nob biscuits and gravy. This is now my new goto place for biscuits and gravy in Nashville.
Went to Brown County with kids to walk around the shops and such. Had the chicken fried chicken breakfast, the sausage egg & cheese sandwich, and pancakes (for 3 of us). It was delicious, my son didn't eat anything the rest of the day after his chicken fried chicken meal! We didn't have room for the deep fried biscuits+apple butter, maybe next time.
We stopped when we saw the word bakery, and we're so glad we did. The food selection is great for a small place. We tried the country fried chicken, a half order of biscuits and sausage gravy, and the bread pudding. Everything was excellent! The service was also friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the Nashville General Store and Bakery!
