We had the signature chicken dinner. It was excellent. Generous helping included leg thigh breast and drum stick. All the sides, including Caesar salad and corn and green beans were great. House made apple butter on biscuits was so good we bought some apple butter to go. Sassafras tea was really good as well. Comfort food at its best.
Whenever we come to Nashville we're always popping into the General Store because we love this place and all the great finds and goodies in it. The food they serve is here is hand made and just plain wonderfulness! You can never go wrong with breakfast or lunch during their dining hours - Yum!

Lots of unique items in the shop. I had an iced mint chocolate coffee and it was very good. My sister-in-law had an iced white chocolate caramel coffee and she said it was really good. They were very busy when we were there. They also offer sandwiches and have indoor seating as well as picnic tables outside. Definitely a must stop when I'm Nashville, IN!
