“Always a family friendly atmosphere, great small town vibes. Food is very delicious! Family owned if I am not mistaken as well, so I am always up to support local businesses, especially in the food/hospitality industry! Every time I have been there, it has left me with a changed experience. Just honestly feel like I am a valued customer while in there!“
“I'm new to the area, but have been here multiple times. The food is always great...whether it's the sushi or other menu items. The service and vibe are fantastic. Also, the bar has really great cocktails! I recommend the Coco Loco!“
“I cannot say enough about this restaurant! We had a reservation fall through at another location and they immediately accommodated 10 people on a Saturday night. We got the calamari, potato skins, goat cheese marinara, and firecracker shrimp apps, and then the burgers and tortellini entrees. It was delicious!“
“Don't waste your time waiting at the Local Fast Food joints, THEY ALL SUCK IN LIGONIER! "This is the Best place to eat in town! They also have the Best Fish meal in Northern Indiana, "This is Absolutelythe BEST place to eat in town!"???“
“I eat there all the time. Only thing that I don’t like is when I’m eating a salad and they bring my dinner out before I’m done with my salad and by the time I get to my dinner, it’s cold. I’m a slow eater. Other than that I highly recommend them.“
“Syracuse Cafe is the real deal. I had a smoked pork chop for lunch that was PERFECT. Could not be better. Slice and eat. My colleagues had the tenderloin that was amazing. It was twice the size of the bun. And. They served a cole slaw made by the local Amish community. Also. The service was pleasant and personal. Thank you to everyone!“
“Went by this place many times over several years driving Amish people, but never stopped. Stopped for the first time tonight and it was not a disappointment! This is a great place, with great food, great waitress, and great atmosphere!I highly recommend it!!!“
“This bruscetta photo says it all! We had the New Year menu that included appetizer, salad, main course with sides, excellent dessert, and a glass of champagne or wine! I challenge anyone to find a better chicken breast or steak! We were so busy enjoying our food that I forgot to take other photos. We used to go there a lot, but stopped as the food quality went south. I'm so glad we are going back now. If you had a poor experience in the past, I would say give it another try. You won't be disappointed, and if you are, they will make it right!“
“Went with my husband and bought a dinner for my dad as well. We were all disappointed in the fries......some tasted burnt and my dad's fries had a lot of bad spots in them. I was disappointed to find out they did not have regular hot dog buns without poppy seeds on them (which I can not have) so they used a hogie bread for my Ruben which ended up being a sausage I did not expect. The service and faculty was nice, so I am sure after a while I would try and eat there again.“
“Emily can suggest and make very tasty cocktails; ... her table service and presence is special. Combined w/ Jason's sense of humor and culinary skills along w/ a really cool atmosphere make Westmain Kitchen one of favorite experiences! If you're looking for a special night out ... you won't regret spending it here!! :)“
“Had a 7:30 reservation, arrived about 5 minutes early, but ended up waiting for 30 minutes. When we asked about the delay after someone arrived and was seated, the "found" our table. That was the only negative though.Food was amazing. I had the bone in rib-eye and the wife had sushi. We looked at the menu and commented that one of everything looked good. Reasonable prices, we'll definitely go back.“
“Located in an historic building tucked in between Big and Little Barbee Lakes Barbee Hotels offers an elevated supper club experience with fine dining flourishes with a speakeasy ambiance. There are many menu items you would expect and a few you might not. I chose their Scallops Rockefeller - a dish I hadn't seen offered anywhere before. It was seriously delicious! The service was impeccable (thanks Holly!). We had a great evening.“
“The view is beautiful, but the food is pretty standard. I've been here a few times over the years. And I think it's gone a bit downhill in recent years for a place that tries to be more high end in this area. Most recently I had the salmon and it was a bit dry.“
“This place is the ideal hole in the wall living place you would ideally want to visit. Me and my lady came here on 3-26-24 for our 8 year anniversary and this made our trip to Syracuse that much more memorable! Connie was welcoming and so friendly once we walked in. After I found out the lady's name that just looked like the heart of the place I was so ready to post this review. Kim was the other lady I was referring to and Connie is Kim's daughter ❤️ it all made sense the ! I got the kitchen sink omelette and my lady got the French toast. I can see why people rate this place why they do and glad I checked it out! Food was amazing I ate it all. The place has such cute take aways it was just amazing all around. This place made you feel loved and comfortable and that's what gets great reviews respect and people coming back. WE WILL BE BACK! LOVE YALL!!!“
“We came here right after a bad expierence tryna get frog legs at another certain tavern that may or may not be close by BUT at louiesBEST SERVICE bartender treated my small party so well ! Loved the atmosphere and made us feel super welcome after a bad start to the day and got my guys the frog legs they wanted so badly and made the day so much better cannot not recommend this place enough !“
“Our brunch was great, but the gluten free toast was the real hero. It was homemade and delicious. Anyone that has given up bread against their will understands how difficult it is to find a good option. Thank you. Will be back.Dietary restrictions: Homemade gluten free bread that tastes good, and has a good texture similar to sour dough.“
“Me and my girlfriend arrived at this place about 8pm on 3-25-24 and the rest was history. The place was so beautifully set by the water, walked inside and the ambiance was immediately drawing us in further. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. She suggested a lot of local favorites and we decided on potato skins and the coconut shrimp. This was our eat spot and we are glad we chose food here. After smashing what we ordered we paid agreed it was all worth it while staring outside to the water and pier. We will definitely be back and this is a must stop place in Syracuse!!“
“We went on a Saturday night and it was just the bartender and she was the cook too. But she did a job and was very attentive and friendly. Very limited menu with only chips or apple sauce for sides. The place was very nice and clean and homey. We went hoping to eat on the train but they didn't have it open. Do recommend if you just want a nice quiet place to have a drink.“
“Turkey Manhattan was good however they skimped on the potatoes and bread. Side salad was ok. Fish dinner was very good and was given a substantial quantity. Baked potato was good, green beans were bland. Service was excellent, only misstep was not providing drink refills. Atmosphere is very basic but clean.Wheelchair accessibility: High curb, did not see ramp. Must manually open 2 doors to enter and exit.“
“We ordered a cheese burger well done. When it came out, it was pink in the middle. The bartender took it back, and they made us one the way we ordered it. Well done. She gave us a discount for the mistake the kitchen made. She didn't have to do that, but she did.“
“They could do well for adding an additional server for the floor as there was only 1 and it was steady/ busy.Dietary restrictions: They've always been helpful to attempt to accommodate my dairy allergy.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly food choices.“
“Our first time there. Great food! You get your money's worth. The server was very good at explaining the menu, the specials and answering our questions. Great service and a great atmosphere! The cook did a wonderful job in cooking everything the way we wanted. We'll definitely be returning. Their salads are great!“
“It's one of the only places I will give complete 5 stars too, I enjoy coming here being one of the last restaurants on the lakeside, the settup is amazing, they have lots of outdoor seating. And there chicken ranch wrap is to die for. I personally enjoy going there when I have free time.“
“I wasn't very hungry but we decided to have a late lunch at the restaurant in the Oakwood resort. View was beautiful, food was pretty good, and the service was fair. We spoke with a Syracuse local and she said the Pier and Back Porch was the go to restaurant on the lake. The prices were cheaper than I expected for a private club feeling. I enjoyed the huge salmon burger with fries. The chicken quesidilla was also quite tasty. The warm fall weather made walking along the lake after lunch very enjoyable and the hotel staff was very friendly and made us want to actually stay there. I'd love to eat some fish on the outdoor patio during the summer for that waterside experience. Super good vibes all around this place. Worth the trip for sure.“
“Was a little disappointed. With only 3 tables full, we had to wait 5 minutes to be seated. I finally just went to the salad bar (which looked like a hog wollar) and started making a salad. Service was equally as slow. This used to be a great place to eat, but I'll likely not go back anytime soon. Such a shame.“
“The cod was from God. My Lenten observance brought me here to Warsaw, Indiana, but my experience was hardly penitential. The service was as cordial as the curds were crispy. The aesthetic of this Culver’s blended tile and carpet, brick and drywall, friendship with fascination. Was I in the middle of Indiana, or Cape cod? My group of eight was well satiated and now prepared for the next leg of our voyage toward Ohio. Thank you Culver for being the lighthouse of hope in my tempest of hunger.“
“Met there with a group of friends they don't open till 1 p.m. on the weekdays the kitchen doesn't open until 4. Sharon was so sweet and seeing that there were seven in our group she got permission to open the kitchen. The food was normal bar food but with the added extra love that Sharon added to the whole visit it tasted that much better.“
