“This place is a one of a kind. There is so many pictures of sports figures and Hollywood movie stars, Hollywood memorabilia. The food is excellent and the staff is so friendly, the owner is always there to shake hands and talk to you. Pretty awesome “
“Good home cooked food. They usually have only 1 waitress because nobody wants to work but service is good considering you may have to wait a few minutes. They close at 3:00 pm but open 7 days a week. Reasonable prices. Friendly service. Not a fancy place. Carpeting in diner is not a good idea. Could be cleaner but they rent the space & renter isn't good about keeping the driveway updated. Lots of potholes.“

“I love the country fried steak! The pancakes are huge and fluffy and delicious. The fried chicken is really good most of the time but it was dry once. Like the cold tea. The service is hit or miss. It feels like an old fashioned dinner. The hashbrowns are good too.“
“Following our practice of not eating at chain restaurants, we used our experience to guide us here because the parking lot was filled with pick up trucks. Greeted by Charlotte, we were offered menus and asked for drink orders. We both ordered chicken and dumplings - one of the specials. We learned that despite the relatively early afternoon time of our visit, we got the last two servings of this comfort food special... that told us it had to be popular with the regulars. I had my plate with mashed potato and gravy, my friend had german potatoes and brown beans ... both described as obviously home made and tasty. For desert, my friend had the peach cobbler ... thought it was a little too sweet for him. I had coconut pie and ate every bite while making yummy noises. Two full meals, two pies, two ice teas with refills was $20! A gem and deserves a visit. Breakfast and lunch only...“
