You are greeted when you walk through the door and thanked when you leave. The most friendly service around! And the food is phenomenal. “I recently hosted a surprise engagement party for my son and his fiancé in the restaurant on a Sunday night. Dawn & Doug were so accommodating and even agreed to move the event to their dining room instead of the private room I had booked. It’s a good thing we did because we had a larger turnout than I realized we would have. They even had to bring us additional tables and they did so with a smile on their faces. Everyone complemented the food and my margarita was delicious! Our server, Chris, worked his tail off for the entire room! I can’t recommend this local eatery enough! If you’re trying to decide whether to try Bourbon on the Falls, you should definitely make your way there, post haste!“

“The large breaded tenderloin is the best I have ever had. The stuffed breadsticks are also in a league of their own. My hesitation in recommending this restaurant is that the server was so unprofessional and rude to us from jump that is nearly ruined our experience. (Surprisingly she was training someone whom she was also being completely rude towards. ) There was a table outside that they told us we could sit at but every truck that drove by would kick up rocks at us which made it a little less enjoyable as well. If you can ignore the service the food is absolutely delicious.“

“Tried the famous onion burger. 2 paddies with grilled onions nestled between the paddies. Very hot and tasty. Fries are skinny and hot. The oil was clean and the resturant did not have an odor of cooking oil. Everyone was pleased with food and service. Working Model train was fun to see above our heads.“

He noticed my Grandma getting out of the car and immediately stepped in and helped her every step of the way. He called in and had a table ready for us. He came by numerous times to check on her. “Today was my first visit. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, the service, and the quality of the food! And the pricing! I had a western omelette and pancakes with hashbrowns, and everything came out perfectly. I asked for the hashbrowns to be extra crispy, and they were! I asked for extra butter, and it arrived with the pancakes. My wife and I were short on time, and were in and out of the restaurant within 40 minutes! On a Sunday! I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast.“

“Last night, my husband and I visited 1925 Pubhouse at Grandview. We had never been and had heard great things. They have earned "Best if Madison County" in several categories and I completely understand why now! The beverage choices are unique ( I had a Lavender Lemonade with I loved!), food was very very good, portions generous, and service excellent ! The atmosphere is casual and family- friendly, and incredibly relaxing ( we sat on the back porch area). If you get the opportunity, go check it out. I think this is going to be our new "go-to" for dinner close to home!“

“Took my adult son to lunch at Toast Cafe today. The place’s decor is ‘50’s fun. Clean and casual. Food was delicious and filling. Son had eggs and French toast; I had chicken sandwich with onion rings. Service was good and wait staff were pleasant. Much better than anticipated.“

“We went for a gathering after losing a loved one. My husband and I were okay, but the others had many complaints. I know the host was doing her best. It was about 20 of us there. I wish my food portion was bigger. I had the 3 cheese chicken penne. The garlic bread was just regular bread. It was dry and no garlic. No worries. It was still a good time.“

“It was overpriced hospital food, not hot!! I ordered the Pot Roast with potatoes & carrots, it was warm with a brown gravy that was overly salty. There was no potatoes & carrots. I ordered Mac n Cheese as a side, it was warm and gross. The 2nd side of greenbeans w/bacon was also warm but tasted the best of the whole plate! If I had known there was no potatoes & carrots as the menu says I would have ordered mashed as a side. The waiter who seated us wanted an answer about our drinks immediately as he rudely hovered over and wouldn’t let us look at the menu. It took a decade to get our bill and pay. I won’t go back!“

“We go here quite often the food is excellent the price is good Such good home cooked food I haven’t had anything there that I did not like the staff is always friendly the place is always clean and we go there about three or four times a week if you haven’t tried it you should you’ll love it“
