“Our ladies group plans dinners every month. We usually have any where from 20 - 30. This months event was planned for Thai District and reservations were made. I was looking forward having dinner here. When we starting arriving we were told they do not give separate checks. This should have been made known when the reservation was made. We walked out as they refused to do separate checks for us and left Thai District and walked down to Bru Burger. A big Thank you to Bru burger for serving such a large group on short notice and without a reservation. Our server Kayla L. did an outstanding job. Our beverages and food came out in record time and we were all served pretty much at the same time. Excellent job Kayla L. and kudos Bru Burger. Kayla, thank you so much for welcoming and serving us. Picked up an order of nachos today to go and ask for chips on the side. while I was waiting for my order… I watched a kid try to fit chips in to a pizza box several times, crushing chips. Then, moved to a bag but the actual nachos was too hot for a bag. He moved back to the nachos in pizza box and chips in separate bag. When my name came up and I realized this is my order, I asked for new unbroken bag of chips and the kid denied crushing my chips. He even asked why I didn’t stop him if I was sitting there watching him. I said I didn’t know it was my order but I thought it might be. All happened to fast. The rest was a huge ordeal and truly sucked just for asking for new chips that weren’t broken.“

“Thank you to Applebee's for the Veterans dinner. The meals we received were hot and decent. Just a few things I thought was odd. First is the bartender had no help at all. He ran out of clean glassware and had do dishes while trying to keep up with the busy bar. Went to pay with cash and he was trying to make change from his personal wallet. No till. So I just gave him a credit card instead.“

“My friend and I took her grandson out for a steak dinner. Our waitress went above and beyond for us. I cannot remember her name but I told her I wanted to post about our time there and her. We needed help getting around and our waitress she said she was a CNA I believe that's what she said. The other customers around us helped as well. So we felt very special last night. The steak was perfect with great flavor and the baked potato was huge and cooked all the through. I ate my steak salad and a little bit of the potato so I brought it home along with my ribeye bone for my Roxie girl. I ate the potato for dinner tonight. I had never been to Longhorn Steakhouse before but you can bet I will go again. Great place great people and great Steaks!!!“

Five minutes later they brought out my food. We love everything, but especially the brisket and smoked turkey. And their banana pudding is delicious.“

“What a fun Sunday evening! My ex husband and I are in our early 40’s. Dating again for the third time after two marriages to one another!
We played darts and watched the game, we then moved over to the bowling game. Our bartender Donna was warm and friendly. She’s also the kitchen manager and had prepared homemade spaghetti and meatballs for Sunday dinner offering. We ordered this to-go but to be prepared for us when we were ready to leave approximately 2 hours later. We had a change of shift bartender who was just as friendly and she made sure our food was fresh not long after I had let her know that we were going to leave soon. Great music and friendly people! “I chose this restaurant for my dad's 80th birthday celebration based on reviews here as well as another forum. The experiences shared were hit and miss and that's pretty much what played out for us as well.\n\nOur reservation was at 1 pm and we arrived about 12:50. We let my mom out at the door so she wouldn't have to walk so far with her mobility issues and when I came in after parking, she said "they're just cleaning up and will seat us.". Our group wasn't seated until almost 1:30 while we watched various staff half-heartedly preparing our tables for nearly 25 minutes. Thankfully there was bench seating near the hostess stand for mom since she can't stand for very long.\n\nService was slow but our waitress did her absolute best since much of the delay was on the kitchen. She stated the kitchen got behind but I'm not sure how since it wasn't busy at all in the rest of the restaurant. By the time the first of our food started arriving, it was probably 2:30 pm or so and mom's food was last - I actually had to get out some of the mini cupcakes I brought for dad's birthday because she was getting a little hangry.\n\nFood itself was also hit or miss - those of us that got typical pub fare were happy (2 burgers, 2 spaghetti/meatballs, 2 deep dish pizzas, and a tavern pizza). My husband and my dad, the birthday boy, got the Sunday prime rib special and described it as meh at best. I was sad for my dad because he was so hesitant to order it due to price and was considering something else but we encouraged him to get it since we were paying for his birthday meal. \n\nAs stated above, I brought 5 dozen mini cupcakes so each family could take a dozen home plus some to share at the table. A pizookie was part of the prime rib meals but when we asked about ordering them, the waitress said she didn't think we'd want them since I brought cupcakes. I immediately spoke up and said my dad had been talking about the salted caramel pizookie ever since the drive over and YES we wanted them! I had also told them that not only was it dad's 80th, my mom was also turning 79 in a few days as well, but other than a verbal "happy birthday" at seating, there wasn't any other recognition. Mom was happy splitting the pizookie with dad but I could tell she was a bit disappointed not to get the birthday candle fanfare (she loves birthdays as much as I do).\n\nOverall, it was just ok. We might return in the future because nothing was really "bad" about the experience other than the speed of service, but it probably won't be my first option the next time I'm planning a family meal somewhere either.“

“Servers seemed to be on it. My server checked up at a timely manners and from my observation everyone else seemed on it cleaning tables immediately. I I had minor issue just needed crispier bacon and was fixed. Appreciate the attention given.👍🏾“
