“My husband and I went here to get my Mom some broccoli and cheddar soup. She’s been sick, so was trying to get her something she could keep down. She loves the soup. Now me, I ordered the cinnamon crunch bagel. I had a bad experience at another Panera, so I was turned off from ordering them. I had been looking for a good bagel since moving from Minnesota. When I tell you that was one of THE best cinnamon crunch bagels I have had in a while. She asked if I wanted it warmed, I said slightly. She said you want it cut in half, and I said yes please. I took it out the bag, and it was perfectly warmed. I took a bite, and it was delicious. I was thinking the bottom would not be as good, less cinnamon taste, but I was wrong. It was full of flavor!😊 It was so tasty!!! Now it’s not a donut, different texture, but it would definitely satisfy a sweet tooth. Now my husband got the cinnamon roll. He loved it, but it was ok for me. It was full of cinnamon throughout. So if you like cinnamon rolls, it would for sure be a good choice. I’d ask for it to be warmed. On the way home, we stopped for some more bagels, but they were sold out. Talk about disappointed.😫 Anyway, if you haven’t had one, go try it out, and let me know what you think. And thanks Panera for bringing me back to try again!!“

“Nick, the owner of Albano’s, showed our family a level of generosity we will never forget. I reached out to him to cater my mom’s 75th birthday. She comes from an Italian family her grandfather emigrated from Alessandria del Carretto and she is very particular about her Italian food. Albano’s is by far her favorite restaurant and truly blows every other place out of the water. This birthday meant so much because my mom hasn’t been well. I wanted it to be special and intimate. When my husband picked up the food, Nick insisted we not pay. We were completely overwhelmed by his kindness. The food was absolutely incredible and everyone raved about it. We can never thank Nick enough. If you want authentic Italian food made with heart, Albano’s is the place.“

“It was the first time I was here....with a friend for her birthday. I got the Blackened Salmon with Risotto....it was delicious! My friend loved what she got and we both had one alcoholic beverage..... everything was very good!!! I would definitely go back.👍“

“We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and Jordan and Nicole were so welcoming. They helped make suggestions on coffee and tea. The drinks were very well made and Jordan asked if we would like the banana bread we bought warmed up. Such nice personal touches in the coffee shop. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended if you are ever in the area.“

“Chris and his staff from Burgerhaus put on our event for the Valparaiso Girl's Basketball team. It was our end of the year banquet. Because of the size of the party, 110 people, they were unable to facilitate us in their space, however, they were able to use LePeep's space for the event. Chris coordinated everything with us as we went through the planning process. He was thoughtful, polite, kind, accommodating, and quick to help solve any issues. The food was DELICIOUS! It was cooked on-site, was hot and so so tasty! We had sliders with all the fixins, mac & cheese, salad with many dressings, and, of course, their delectable French fries! There was PLENTY of food for everyone. They allowed us to bring our own cake for dessert. They accommodated our screen and other technology that we brought in. Chris and his staff helped us to move the tables and chairs whevever we needed to in order to allow everyone to sit where they wanted and still see the presentations. If this wasn't my daughter's senior year, I would be contacting Chris and his phenomenal staff for another banquet!“
“Stopped for lunch and had a chicken wrap, pineapple express, and kimchi. Everything was absolutely delicious!! We will be back, interested in the lions mane drops! Please let me know when you restock.“

“12/1/25 I decided to give them a shot and I must say that my experience was truly delightful and I was completely amazed at how fast my food came out I ordered the eggs Benedict and the eggs were poached to perfection this place has the potential to be one of my top spots, for take out I went with the corn chowder soup to enjoy when I got home and after putting it in my microwave sometime later that evening its was definitely worth the wait and had my taste buds dancing next time I'm in Valpo I'm definitely stopping by thank you for such a wonderful experience and I need that recipe...“

“Cute little food spot in Chesterton. they make iced and hot coffees/Lattes. i ordered their special snickers latte and raspberry cheesecake stuffed french toast. Very very good. there was inside and outside seating available. Staff is kind and fast. they also have pastries at the front that you can get when youre all finished.“

“Kipkates did a great job with grandbaby's shower cake. I took a picture of a cake, and they made it identical to the picture. I wanted a more expensive 3 tier, and they talked me into a more affordable 2 tier that turned out wonderful. It tasted delicious! Great experience!“

“We had a large group and came in for lunch. I had the chicken shawarma with steak bowl and we had the falafel bowl. The homemade carrot salad and hummus was great. Its a great alternative to a Chipotle or resturant like one. They also have gluten and diary free pitas.“

“01/2026: The main food was delicious, as always. I had the spaghetti and meatballs 🍝 this time. The servers were nice, however, it was impossible for them to bring breadsticks that were not cold and hard. I gave up after 2 requests and just used one as crackers for my soup.“

“A “food delivery person” messed up our order, or stole it. Hard to tell. Cleo and his staff completely took care of the entire situation. And our dinner was incredible. I was blown-away by the care they provided us. I’ll continue ordering from Chili’s! Don't let a couple bad eggs keep you from a great dinner. 100% ordering again very soon! Make sure to dine-in or pick up!“
