“While I love the home made bread, soup and salads. My name was called so quietly that by the time I looked to see if it was ready my soup was cold. It was already very quite inside. “Everything was Amazing! It is at the top of our restaurant favorites...our server Hannah was incredible, as always, and the food is always great. This visit we got the Stacks Sticks with alfredo dipping sauce and the Lobster Roll Sliders for an appetizer. For our entrees, the Vegan pasta, Stuffed Chicken, Blackened Shrimp Cobb Salad, and Stackin Cheddar. We can't wait for next time!“

“We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and Jordan and Nicole were so welcoming. They helped make suggestions on coffee and tea. The drinks were very well made and Jordan asked if we would like the banana bread we bought warmed up. Such nice personal touches in the coffee shop. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended if you are ever in the area.“

“We are on vacation at Indiana Dunes and stopped in at Dog Days today after lunch for a treat. Great place, and AMAZING staff! Our kids, ages 5 and 2, changed their minds on what they wanted a couple of times and the two young ladies working were so patient with us as they took our orders. Very clean and a great atmosphere - My kids loved watching the little train overhead. And of course, the ice cream was delicious! Also, they have a family restroom with a changing table, which may not be high on most people’s list but that can be so hard to find in these little specialty shops and as a family with two littles, having those facilities easily available is just a very nice bonus. Highly recommend :)“

“12/1/25 I decided to give them a shot and I must say that my experience was truly delightful and I was completely amazed at how fast my food came out I ordered the eggs Benedict and the eggs were poached to perfection this place has the potential to be one of my top spots, for take out I went with the corn chowder soup to enjoy when I got home and after putting it in my microwave sometime later that evening its was definitely worth the wait and had my taste buds dancing next time I'm in Valpo I'm definitely stopping by thank you for such a wonderful experience and I need that recipe...“

Their renovations look fabulous - collaborating with local artists and designers to rebrand their look and space will make it enjoyable for all the families for many years to come. “Gem of a place. Lovely laid back atmosphere with delicious food. Everything prepared fresh and from scratch, and tastes amazing. Portion size are hearty, yet it didn't feel heavy, everything prepared well and healthy. Tried the Popeye hash, loved it. Staff is very kind and all smiley too 😊 do visit if you are in town.“

“Kipkates did a great job with grandbaby's shower cake. I took a picture of a cake, and they made it identical to the picture. I wanted a more expensive 3 tier, and they talked me into a more affordable 2 tier that turned out wonderful. It tasted delicious! Great experience!“

“Lemon Tree Mediterranean was delicious. The red cabbage salad and carrot salad were both outstanding, in my rice bowl. The meal was very filling. It's kind of like a Mediterranean version of Chipotle, but with even better options and flavors, in my opinion.
The atmosphere gets a 3 out of 5. It's clean and has plenty of seating, but like Chipotle, it's not really the type of place where you settle in and enjoy a long meal. It's more of a quick, casual spot to grab great food.
If you're looking for fresh, flavorful Mediterranean food that's satisfying and reasonably priced, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.“

“Me and my family had the most amazing experience with great service great food on Mother’s Day We had Natasha. She always checked on us made sure we had enough breadsticks. usually, they’re very stingy with the bread. She made sure Had enough refills on drinks before we were completely empty. We didn’t have to ask for anything. Everything ran very smoothly. She was very sweet very kind. She definitely deserves extreme recognition. We could tell that she cared and was very genuine We made sure to let the manager know, but we wanted to write a review as well. Make sure you get Natasha! Thanks again. There is not one thing that I would do better. A plus service According to my mother. Thank you for making Mother’s Day extra special for three Generations of mothers.“
