“We had a fantastic experience here. First time & we will definitely return! Greeted immediately and they were very nice. The place was clean and had a calm atmosphere. All of the food was warm and smelled amazing and tasted so good. Plenty of options. There was only one other group there. Price was great, too. Fountain drinks/tea/coffee were included in the price of the buffet. 2 people was about $30. We had a great time here.“

“This is my most favorite restaurant. I wish they would get on to doordash so I could have it delivered across the bridge to Jeffersonville Indiana. When I worked downtown Louisville at Humana we would eat there at least three times a week. All of the employees loved this restaurant. Please consider going on to doordash. I am disabled and cannot drive anymore so I cannot go to the greatest restaurant in Kentucky or Southern indiana. Thank you“

“This tiny gem of a restaurant is a St. Matthews treasure. I eat there often and am always amazed by the quality, flavor, amount and prompt friendly service. Their curry and Szechuan chicken never fail to burst with flavor. I’ve truly always had a great experience here.“

“Very good Chinese Buffet. The Bourbon Chicken ROCKS! You can usually tell how good a Chinese restaurant is by the Bourbon Chicken. The selection here might be a bit smaller than other places, but what they do have is quality! 4.5 Chinese 🎇⭐'s! Will return!“

“Upon arrival it is a very calming atmosphere and the smells are amazing!!!! The person i was with had the sweet and sour chicken which was very crunchy and flavorful. The sweet and sour sauce tasted homemade and complimented the chicken very well. The chicken dumplings had the right amount of chili oil in them and it was not too spicy for me. I Had the Pineapple Chicken and I mist say it was some of the best I've ever tasted it was sweet and crispy although it was heavily glazed in this sauce that I could practically drink lbs....I asked for a personal sauce for the road...they were very accommodating...Will definitely be back 10/10‼️“

“I've lived in the area for over 30 years. I only go to 2 Chinese restaurants The Great Wall in Louisville & Hing Wang in New Albany. I don't care where I am I will drive an hour out of my way to eat at either of these Chinese restaurants. They are incredible! Everything on the menu is spectacular! You can't go wrong! My favorite thing about both restaurants is they have Water Chestnuts and those are a must have in any meal I order. 100% delicious!“

“They need to update their signs and google descriptions, etc, but their food is surprisingly good!
They look sketchy on the outside but I think it’s just because they don’t get a lot of business
They don’t have a buffet, but you can see what they have and choose what you want!
It’s good if you want Chinese but don’t want to eat in :)“

“We typically call in orders or order at the counter for takeout since they only have a couple tables to eat at. We made such a call in for a smallish order of three entrées and an appetizer on New Year’s Eve. We placed the order at 6:35 PM and was told it would be a 30 to 45 minute wait. The place was packed when I got there around seven. I’ve never seen so many people in there before. I counted close to 20 customers waiting. Several of them were for DoorDash, but most others were call-ins like myself. I waited close to two hours for our order, but this is not a post complaining about the wait.
From what I could see, there were about four people in the kitchen working as fast as they possibly could to place a million orders that were coming in faster than they could keep up with, to the point where they had to shut off DoorDash orders. There was one woman handling all the people paying for the orders they placed online or over the phone named Cat. It was obviously a rough evening, but she was smiling and cracking jokes and making people smile and trying to make the best of it. She worked really hard to ensure everyone got taken care of in a timely fashion. Those of us who were waiting were mostly incredibly patient, and we even started up conversations amongst ourselves while waiting. I watched as the kitchen staff furiously prepared tons of orders, many of which had several entrees and appetizers in them only to then get a call that they were canceling their order because it took too long. It was a crazy night with not enough staff, but the ones who were there were dedicated and were working very hard to take care of everybody there.
I don’t really mind how long it took because I saw how hard they were working and I was one of many, many others who were showing kindness and patience that night. Customers were given free drinks for the long wait and discounts were given for delivery orders because of the length of time it was taking. They were doing everything they could to make it work and to keep their customers happy. After that long of a wait, it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had when I finally got home.
I recommend this place not only for their food but because they are really working hard to make sure everyone is taken care of and that that’s a restaurant I want to give my business too on a regular basis and will continue to do so. Thank you, Cat! Hope you got some good tips that night.“

“The rice at this location always tastes dried out to me, but the Chow Mein is decent. The egg rolls and the main dishes I've tried have all been decent as well.
Just a warning to anyone coming here late, the employees seem to stop making new food around 8:30PM-9:00PM, so if you come after that point they might be out of what you want and not be making any more.“

“I recently tried Asian Buffet, and it was a really solid experience. It is along the lines of what you expect from a typical Chinese style buffet, but I thought the food was better than what you normally get in most buffet situations.
The service was great and the staff stayed on top of everything. The food was fresh and consistently stocked. I personally love surimi crab, and they had multiple dishes featuring it, which made me very happy. The General Tso’s was also very good, and overall everything I tried was well prepared and flavorful.
It is definitely worth the drive from Louisville. If you are anywhere near New Albany, I would suggest checking it out.“

“This is, by far, the absolute best Chinese restaurant in southern Indiana. The food is always fresh, hot, and exceptional! The main lady at the register (I assume an owner) is so kind and friendly. I recommend this place to everyone I meet. They have had my business for the last 7 years and will continue to as long as I live here.“
