“We went to the restaurant on Saturday and it was quite busy. We were told the bar area was short staffed so it took a long time to get our drinks. It also was a longer wait for our food. But, the food was excellent and I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.“

The customer service was just as memorable. Every team member I encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They checked in to make sure everything was right without being intrusive, which made the meal feel special.

Speed was another highlight. Even though the restaurant was busy, my order was prepared quickly and accurately. It never felt rushed, just efficiently handled.

Finally, the cost is more than fair for the quality you receive. The portions are generous, and you truly get excellent value for your money.

“My wife and I were in Indy for a 24-hour getaway for Labor Day and looking for a good place to enjoy breakfast. We chose to check out this First Watch because they have a location in Florida that we like to visit when we are there.

We were a little surprised by how packed they were, not only inside in the dining room, but even with people waiting on the sidewalk outside. We have never seen that before at any other First Watch. We put our names on the waiting list. We were told that the wait was 30 minutes, and that they would text us when our table was coming available, so we did a little shopping a couple of stores down until it was about time.

After close to 30 minutes we were seated and warmly greeted by our server, Max, who got our drinks to us right away, and then quickly got our order in.

My wife and I were both impressed by the staff moving quickly about the room, taking great care of all of their customers.

We ordered the pumpkin pancake breakfast with chicken apple sausage and an egg, avocado toast with two eggs and a side of bacon, and coffee to drink.

Our food didn’t take too long to get to our table, and everything was cooked exactly the way we asked. The flavors were great and the portion sizes were good.

Even though every table was full and the place with bustling with people, our server did such a wonderful job.

When we finished our meal we got an order of pumpkin spice donuts to go. They were delicious too!

While we did have a bit of a wait, and it was a little on the expensive side, we were so impressed with everything about our visit. I’d give this First Watch an extra star if I could for exceeding our expectations! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ + ⭐️“

Tater tots were old and I could see the seasoning. I just couldn't taste the seasoning. Might go back but I'd be more selective with my menu. choices.“

“We usually frequent a different location, but recently visited your Carmel location and found it to be a great experience. From calling in via phone Gretta was fantastic, warm, and friendly (which seems to be a list skill set for many)Then our server Emily did a wonderful job of taking our order and servicing us. “We went on August 4th during the last hour, and they handed out the wrong order to someone (the order really being ours), but the way the man at the window handled it was amazing, he swiftly made our food again with no problem, coming from food service I know how irritating that could be especially 30 mins before close, but he was so sweet and even added two brownies for us! Not only that but as we were pulling out he ran out to hand us Mac a cheese that was forget, he was amazing!! Definitely deserves a raise!!“

“The food was served quickly. They weren't very busy so it was quiet. The burgers were fantastic as well as the gluten free bun!! It is very hard to find decent gluten free breads and we weren't disappointed. The kids enjoyed the root beer floats as well as their balloons to go.
