J.D. Restaurants, Jim Dandy & Dairy Queen offices is a local chain diner. It is a pretty good restaurant with good food and service. The place is clean with some updates, not old and grungy, and has very clean bathrooms. Its arrangement takes you back to the 80's. It is a great diner for delicious bfast, with coffee free with bfast on Sunday mornings. Many enjoy the Sunday brunch buffet, which includes a soup & salad bar and hot breakfast bar. The salad bar options are plentiful and include items like beets, bean salad and coleslaw. The hot breakfast bar typically has several breakfast meats, pancakes, biscuits and gravy and fried mush. Menu items include a design your own omelette, which can be wonderful and filled with bacon, served with very fresh and hot biscuits and gravy. They also offer homemade sugar cream pie and sell whole pies. For dinner, the hot bar isn't offered, so guests order from the menu. Sandwich options include a fish sandwich and a breaded tenderloin. The restaurant has mostly older customers and is a place many have visited happily hundreds of times and would return to and highly recommend.
