The drinks were very well made and Jordan asked if we would like the banana bread we bought warmed up. Such nice personal touches in the coffee shop. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. We had the maple brussel sprouts, loaded potato fritters (that sauce!), the French dip (melts in your mouth), and the best cocktails were the Painkiller, Brewtini, and Liv-Lav-Love. The lemon pie was great, and the brownie Sundae was fantastic (that orange caramel!)! Quick and attentive service, even on a holiday!“

“We are on vacation at Indiana Dunes and stopped in at Dog Days today after lunch for a treat. Great place, and AMAZING staff! Our kids, ages 5 and 2, changed their minds on what they wanted a couple of times and the two young ladies working were so patient with us as they took our orders. Very clean and a great atmosphere - My kids loved watching the little train overhead. And of course, the ice cream was delicious! Also, they have a family restroom with a changing table, which may not be high on most people’s list but that can be so hard to find in these little specialty shops and as a family with two littles, having those facilities easily available is just a very nice bonus. Highly recommend :)“

I was totally wrong the food was home cooked fresh made and cravable. my kids enjoyed themselves thoroughly, my youngest normally doesn't eat his whole plate but he did on this visit. this is a hidden gem that I suggest that you run don't walk to go see!“

“Went through the drive-thru on 11/18 a little after 7pm. The girl working the drive-thru was very nice and smiled and the girl who brought the food out to my car was also very pleasant. Food was hot and fresh and tasted great! I will definitely be back!“

“The breakfast selection is enormous and you receive a lot of food for a low price! Many people don't realize that there is a lunch menu and also a dinner menu. I don't know how this restaurant can supply large portions at a good price. They have an all-you-can eat fish dinner on Friday's and they have extended hours until 8pm on Friday and Saturday. We are going to try the Rib special tonigh! P.S. Great waitresses and staff!“
