Shu Ge is a restaurant that strives to provide a memorable dining experience. Its staff is known for being friendly, and during Chinese New Year, they offer a variety of delicious dishes. The restaurant is highly regarded for its food, including the chicken dumplings, and many customers praise the quality of dishes like crab yolk tofu and sliced and chop pepper with spare ribs. Prices are reasonable, making it a popular spot for adults and suitable for children. Vegetarian options are available, although the selection may be limited. While many enjoy dining in, some customers have found the service inconsistent, with occasional issues such as difficulty placing takeout orders or staff not being very friendly. The dining area is clean and attractive, seating about 40 people with booth style seating, tables for four, and a couple of round tables for six. Customers have appreciated the traditional Chinese menu, which offers many unique meals. Many find the food delicious and authentic, not overly Americanized, and the restaurant maintains high standards of cleanliness, including the bathrooms. Overall, Shu Ge remains a favorite for those seeking good Chinese cuisine in town, especially for those looking for a traditional experience.
