Taste is a mom-and-pop Chinese shop and the food is reasonably authentic. The Peking duck was good quality, crispy and chewy and authentic. The fish fragrant eggplant, duck, big plate chicken, brisket, and all of their spicy-numb fish soups are loved. The food has a local flair. The rice was tasty. The cucumber salad and the scallion pancakes are consistently ordered. The blackbean fish, peppercorn chicken, and green beans are wonderful. The price is super affordable. The decoration was very inspiring and amazing, clean, with serving robots and hot pot warmed tables. The atmosphere is relaxed and stylish. The service is rated high, though it can be hit or miss. One lady was super polite. The food is served relatively quickly. The wrap could be a bit more moist. The bathroom door was filthy. A language barrier was noted with the woman who took the order. One server made sure a friend's hotpot was not shared. Despite some issues, the food is pretty good, and people should give this place a shot. It is a good option for dining and private dates with some luxury service for couples and groups.
