“Food was good. Service? Well lets just say she spent more time chit chatting with people than paying attention to our table. We did feel a little neglected when trying to get our check. But we will be back. I do wish they didn't allow smoking inside until after 9pm.”

“If you're ever in Tipton Indiana, you must check out this little spot. They are only open to 2 PM and closed on Sundays and Mondays.There is indoor seating. On the warmer days there is also outside seating. Parking can be a challenge. The gentleman that took my order was super friendly. There was a lady who kept interrupting him while he was taking my order. One time, even saying, "what did she say?" It felt awkward....My lavender iced latte was excellent. I had it one other time when I was driving through and stopped in. It's really what I stopped in to get this time. Since it was lunch, I went ahead and ordered the Apple Pecan salad. When I asked what the salad base is. This is another time the lady interrupted and said, "what do you mean?" Such strange interaction with a customer. Salad was GREAT! Food tasted fresh and it was a really nice size salad.I plan to stop in on my next trip and have another salad and lavender iced latte. You should, too!”

“Love this quick cafe in Tipton? I had a Spiced Chai and they made an adorable Pup Cup for my puppy pal. I had to include a pic because it was soooo cute☺️? You can tell the drinks are made with care and it shows in taste! The price is amazing too, under $5 for a medium Chai?Service was super friendly, I’ll definitely be back? “I haven't lived in Elwood for very long. My mother wanted breakfast, but she didn't want to dine in. I didn't want fast food so I googled local restaurants. Friendly's was first on the list.I called and they could quickly prepare breakfast to go. My mother ordered pancakes with added sausage patties. I ordered a full order of biscuits and gravy.As I initially entered the restaurant, I saw several signs stating they only accepted cash, debit and credit weren't welcome. Hopped back in the van to find an ATM. Returned for our food.The lady behind the counter was talkative and friendly. They were about 1/2 full and everyone seemed to be happy and sociable. Great atmosphere.My mother enjoyed her breakfast and was filled before she could finish. I was quite disappointed with my biscuits and gravy. The gravy looked great and was a good consistency. However, it had far too much pepper. The biscuits were rather small. They tasted good but were a bit dry. I tried a few more bites of mostly biscuit with as little gravy as I could get. Still far too peppery. Inedible. Definitely not happy.Parking: The parking lot is rather small. Some spaces are placed in a way that cars have to be extremely careful not to back into other cars.”

“Crab Rangoon and chicken fried rice. Little town where we took a driving test and we ordered a little snack. A delicious Chinese restaurant in a small town!! It made me want to go back just to eat dinner. Pleasantly surprised. If I lived here, it would be my “go to” Chinese place and I would be so happy that this Chinese restaurant is here! It’s like a hidden gem I would say! I want to go back and eat dinner and I honestly think I might actually do that in the next 3 months! It’s a 30 minute drive from where I live in Indianapolis, but now I’m curious. The thing is…it’s not a place you would sit down and eat dinner. It’s pretty much carry out dinner and maybe sit down by yourself or maybe one friend and eat lunch. I will come back and get a bunch of things to try because it had so much promise and I was interested in what else they had to offer. Cool restaurant hidden in a small town. Pretty cool!”

“The food is so good and seasoned to perfection! They never fail on the flavor or portions. They also catered my sons open house and everyone loved the baked beans! I also ordered some burger patties from the website and they cooked up so well.”

“First time here. Very friendly staff! Excellent portion size for the price! Super fast service! Mouth wateringly good food!The dining area is a bit small, which isn't innately a problem. However a family of 7 (3 adults and 4 children) were spread out over 3 of the 5 tables. They were finishing their food when I arrived and stayed to socialize with themselves thru most of my meal. So be prepared to take your order to-go in case you encounter an inconsiderate family like this.”

“My Young Beautiful Bride and I visited Tipton for an estate sale and afterwards we went to the Green House for lunch.Unknown to us, the restaurant was actually located in an actual Green House.The atmosphere was OK, but nothing to brag about. There seemed to be only 2 employees, and this made everything move very slowly.It took 46 minutes to receive our drinks and another 12 minutes to receive our food.The meals were quite delicious and filling ?, it was just the long wait that we didn't like.I suppose if you weren't in a hurry and wanted to take your time and visit with your family, this would be the perfect place to go.”

“I have eaten from the food truck a few times and loved it so I decided to give the cafe a try. The tenderloin and fries were fantastic! I used to work at a private country club which had what I thought to be the best tenderloin in existence but you guys have set the bar high and I don’t think I will ever find a better one! “It's a fun place to go. It is being upgraded. Witch it needs badly, new owners new drinks, new atmosphere. bringing in new crowds from nearby towns, mixer of young and older peeps. Live music in summer sonar but it may change once they are finished with the add on. Come hang out!!”

“You get food that you can't find anywhere else around town. WOW. Contrary to popular belief, I like that you kinda order yourself and there isn't a huge waitress staff because I'm just here to enjoy good food and good drinks, which is what you get, without being interrupted every five minutes to be asked, "Is everything ok?" Try the beers! The beer wall is GENIUS!! Highly highly recommend. The seating area is small however which makes it a little more personal but nothing negative. Very efficient.”
