“Food was good. Service? Well lets just say she spent more time chit chatting with people than paying attention to our table. We did feel a little neglected when trying to get our check. But we will be back. I do wish they didn't allow smoking inside until after 9pm.“

“You get food that you can't find anywhere else around town. WOW. Contrary to popular belief, I like that you kinda order yourself and there isn't a huge waitress staff because I'm just here to enjoy good food and good drinks, which is what you get, without being interrupted every five minutes to be asked, "Is everything ok?" Try the beers! The beer wall is GENIUS!! Highly highly recommend. The seating area is small however which makes it a little more personal but nothing negative. Very efficient.“

“The Shack echoes reminders of the past with the former restaurant, "Pizza Shack". The pizza buffet and salad bar are just as I remember with the benefits of a completely remodeled restaurant experience. The unique layout of the restaurant sparks a sort of curiosity when you first walk in the door. A payphone in the entrance was a nice surprise that I was not expecting. The decor grass provides a feeling of nature inside a wide open space with unique geometry for the building layout. The only drawback I can find, if any, is the flooring. The chairs and the tables slide too easily for comfort but I realize this this is good for the chairs as well as making it easier to keep the place clean. I will definitely be back. Thank you for taking the bitterness of Pizza Shack closing and skipping past bittersweet while turning it into just the sweet.“
