“I had the daily special beef lemongrass noodle soup, and it was the best noodle dish I’ve had in a very long time! Noodles was soft and chewy. The meat was tender. The greens was crunchy and not overcooked and soggy! The broth was perfect! Had the right amount of kick to it. I can’t wait to come back.“

“Great BBQ! All the meat was very lean and the sauces were good, but I surprisingly found myself using their sweet sauce most. I'm a big fan of service making up a lot of the score, and we were definitely gifted with a terrific server on this visit. Grace took care of us by asking what we like typically and making recommendations along with some suggestions of sides to go with the delicious meat choices.“

“Went to celebrate my husbands birthday Wednesday night, my server, Megan, was immaculate. She had a big group seated by us but continued to provide excellent service to us as-well as the other tables around us. Our steaks were excellent, and the manager even comes to check up on you. Couldn’t say better things about Jason, Megan, and my entire experience! Definitely will be celebrating more occasions here!“

“We had Taco Zone cater our wedding in Kansas City and what I can say is HIRE THESE PEOPLE! They are so nice, down to earth and hard working. They will go above and beyond for you prior and on your day. I have nothing but wonderful and raving things to say about the staff at Taco Zone. It’s the talk of our friend group and work on how amazing the food was, which is always good to hear since wedding food is known for being average… but they were far from average. If you are thinking of booking them for your next event, take this as a sign to do it! Thank you again, we wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to serve our favorite people but TACO ZONE!“

“Love this place. The atmosphere, service and the variety of great cuisine all make this my favorite place to dine, when I'm in Lawrence. I live in Johnson County, so my only complaint is that they don't have a location in Overland Park or Olathe! Mohammed always seems to make an effort to stop by the tables, to ensure all the guests are completely satisfied. The Raja dip is delicious, and you'll NEVER have a better glass of lemonade! There's even a bowl out in front of the building, for dogwalkers to stop by and give their furry friends a refreshing drink of water. (It's the little things). The KC location is equally as nice, but this spot is a gem on Mass Street, for sure.“

“The food was amazing as always, but the coffee was bitter. I a hoping for several cups of coffee to go along with breakfast, but it was so bitter i was afraid I would end up with horrible heartburn.
The service was spot on. I haven't received such great service at busy breakfast restaurants in a very long time. I am impressed. I will definitely go again, i just won't be ordering coffee.“

“We made reservations well in advance for Christmas Eve dinner at The Eldridge. Our service was so terrible and our waitress was so rude, we left after we finally got our incorrect drink order. We sat for an unreasonably long time before we were even greeted. After the waitress was openly hostile to us, we left money on the table for the incorrect drinks and left before we even ordered dinner. We walked 10 steps over to 715 and were greeted warmly and seated immediately at the bar. The service was top notch and the food was wonderful. The atmosphere was lively, fun and bustling. If you want great service, excellent food and great atmosphere, just go next door to 715. They saved our Christmas Eve date night, and we didn’t even have reservations! Thank you 715!!“

“My husband made patio reservations here for my birthday and it was absolutely amazing! We live an hour and half away and it was definitely worth the drive. I had the paella and my husband had the lamb that was on special and both dishes were great. I am not normally a fan of lamb but it was so yummy I would order it for myself. The dessert and cocktails were perfect and the staff was excellent.We haven't stopped raving about it since we were there. I highly recommend it and we will definitely make another trip to visit!“

“Chipotle sucks compared to this place. The chicken or steak rice bowls are my favorite. They don't short-hand you on the meat and it's for a decent price. I know a lot of people who love Chipotle but I find myself always getting rice and corn with not much else. If you agree try Pepper Jax it'll knock your socks off.“

The Thai food was excellent, authentic ( was in Thailand several times). Came back next day for dinner again. Best option for real Asian street style food and honest friendly servers. “A fun place to stop as we traveled through Kansas on a road trip. Great atmosphere, service was great - very friendly- food was good- had the chopped chicken salad (highly recommend the lemon parmesan vinaigrette dressing), Margherita pizza (flavor was good but it would have been baked a bit longer), and the Join the Club sandwich with house chips- both were excellent!“

“Best Chinese food in town and in the surrounding area. We have tried a gazillion different Chinese restaurants and all fall short to China House. Who would know a small town would have such a great Chinese restaurant?. It’s very authentic, food tastes hot and fresh every time!! When we lived in the area we would order every Friday night. We just passed through while traveling and had to get us our fix. Of course it didn’t disappoint at all. We have tried many dishes there but we’d recommend the beef and broc combination, sweet and sour pork combination. Their house friend rice has great variety of the meats. Pork fried rice is fresh and pork pieces are crispy and delicious. Chicken fried rice has crispy chicken which doesn’t make for weird gray pieces like some places. White rice is cooked perfectly, not mush. Egg rolls and crab Rangoon always freshly fried. I love their hot oils as well. Would also recommend the veg lo mein. Noodles cooked great not soggy, veggies still have bite left to them, not super soft. Service is always fast and friendly. I always call in my orders and they are kind enough to repeat the order back to me to ensure it’s correct. The only sad part about this place is I live so far away from it now.“

Highly recommend The Phog with the shallot topping, the truffle fries, the bacon cheddar fries, honestly all of it! Definitely check this place out for a tasty, affordable, cozy location downtown.“

“We love it at Acapulco. The staff is nice, the food is great, and the salsa is really good. They do offer some outdoor dining, although due to their location it cases on a parking lot. But on a beautiful evening it's still nice to sit outside and look across to the green space across the street.“
