“Discovered Metro Bistro several years ago. I’m from Topeka & come to Andover/Wichita frequently & Metro Bistro has become a favorite! Their service is friendly & efficient, the chef is amazing & dishes are different than any other restaurant. Love the music & unique atmosphere. Highly recommend! 5 Stars for sure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“We enjoyed a lovely evening at The Greens for our car club Christmas. We reserved a room for 30+ people, had a few servers (Calvin was amazing) who did a fantastic job with drinks, food orders, and making sure we had an enjoyable time. We created a short menu which they printed out to assist with meal options. The Greens has a great bar, dining area, and extra banquet halls, in additional to the gold course. Thank you.“

“Spaulding's is a great "townie" bar. Family friendly with good food, good staff, and good daily specials. Lots of TVs and multiple sports are on all the time. Taco Tuesday is always good and they have Trivia Thursday nights. Decent draft beer selection and a full bar. Pool tables and a few electronic games too. GOOD TIMES!!“

Avocado toast platter had lots of options for building toast and all were delicious. Excellent attentive service. We were there for hours chatting, sharing mimosas. We were never rushed. “Redrock Canyon Grill last night for a birthday dinner. There was double booking on our reservation that we placed a week ago, and we got the short end of the stick. Poor communication aside though, here's how dinner went. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer, and when it came out, the plate had like 6 chips on it. Seemed pretty steep for the price ($15), but we asked for more chips and they brought out an entire plate more for free. It came with the dip, as well as a small cup of salsa. Both tasted great! Extra chips made up for the perceived lack of portion size. For a main course, I got the 10oz Filet with mashed potatoes, and "something green" (green beans). The Filet was excellently prepared at requested "medium", with a ton of flavor! It was a stark contrast to what we got at Salt**ass. Tender, juicy, and well seasoned, with a nice crust! Sizes came in 6oz(?), 10oz, and 14oz. Easily the best steak I've had at a restaurant. I wish I would've gotten the 14oz, but not because I was still hungry....I just didn't want to good time to end. 🥴 Next up was the mashed potatoes.....and ho-lee-sht. Creamy, full of flavor! I could be wrong, but i felt like I tasted onions in them? I dont really know what's in them for sure, but i feel like I need to create a Redrock Anonymous group to deal with the withdraw I will be battling, until we inevitably go back. Green beans were also excellent. Not a lot to go over in specifics, but they were awesome, and the perfect companion to the rest of the culinary masterpieces on my plate. Our waitress was super attentive, and quick to refill drinks before they were empty. Very knowledgeable in specials and pricing, and overall a great communicator. This was literally the best meal I've had out at a restaurant, period, and Redrock is likely going to be our go-to for celebrations, and date night's from now on. Many of us didn’t experience the ‘50s, but diners are apart of the American landscape that chances are you have great memories in a ‘50s themed diner, or at least relate to it as a symbol of American culture. “Very good as DFACs go. Especially if you have airmen Puryear on the grill. We were visiting base and got to enjoy a few meals there made by several different airmen. He was the best. Everything he made was fresh, hot, moist and delicious and he did it with a smile and friendly help. Most things seemed fast food style which was ok for us but I'll bet tiring for troops. Also, some servings were very slim. I'm a 120 lb 50yr old female and I wanted more, so I'd assume it would not be enough for active duty. Overall, we enjoyed it. It is open for all with base access. Staff has always been helpful and friendly. Never have to wait to long to either order or receive my meal. A little cramped dining area but restaurant is clean. “The customer service at the Sandbox is superb! Went out to lunch with the boys and my sister. At the entrance Easton saw they had a grinch drink (but it was alcoholic 😵‍💫) anyway he wanted a grinch drink. When we sat down we asked the waiter if they could make him a virgin grinch drink. They explained the drink he saw they couldn’t make it virgin but they would make another special grinch drink for him. I completely didn’t expect that but am very grateful that they did that for him, it definitely made his day 💚“

“at around 11pm on 11/30/23 my daughter and son in law ubered to this location (in preparation to not drive home if they has alcoholic beverages) upon entering the established they were refused service while patrons who were actively being served laughed and said "sucks to be you N****r!" the staff then began to laugh and did not reprimand the patron or try to fix the situation by offering service. My daughter paid to get to this establishment only to be met with racism by both staff and patrons. I am absolutely disgusting and heartbroken that they had to deal with this type of embarrassment and hurtful behavior. I will also be contact the GM of this location as well as going as high up in the management chain as need be. I am a retail GM and have been in retail & restaurant management most of my adult life and would never allow this type of behavior in any establishment I run. DISGUSTING!!!“

“I just had my wedding and reception at Chester’s in October. The process from start to finish was delightful. Holly the event planner and Tan the general manager did everything to make our wedding vision come to life. It was the best wedding food I have possibly ever had, and didn’t even seem like “wedding food” it was simply so good. The day of, it ended up being incredibly rainy. The entire team pivoted to accommodate everything inside, and I don’t know what else we would have done without having such an incredible team to work with. If you want to host the most memorable and impressive event that feels elevated and uniquely styled to your taste, go to Chester’s. The service is the best in the city, and the event pricing is highly competitive.“

“On November 15th, 2025, a group of friends and I met at this IHOP for brunch and had an amazing time. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, but what really made our experience stand out was our server, Princess. She was absolutely incredibly—friendly, funny, and completely on top of everything from start to finish.
We had a slightly confusing situation with our tickets, but Princess handled it with total professionalism and made sure everything was corrected quickly. She was attentive throughout the entire meal, checking in on us, making sure we were taken care of, and adding such positive energy to our brunch.
By the end of our visit, the entire group agreed: Princess deserves a raise or a promotion. Her service went above and beyond, and she truly made our visit unforgettable. Highly recommend!“
