“Discovered Metro Bistro several years ago. I’m from Topeka & come to Andover/Wichita frequently & Metro Bistro has become a favorite! Their service is friendly & efficient, the chef is amazing & dishes are different than any other restaurant. Love the music & unique atmosphere. Highly recommend! 5 Stars for sure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“We enjoyed a lovely evening at The Greens for our car club Christmas. We reserved a room for 30+ people, had a few servers (Calvin was amazing) who did a fantastic job with drinks, food orders, and making sure we had an enjoyable time. We created a short menu which they printed out to assist with meal options. The Greens has a great bar, dining area, and extra banquet halls, in additional to the gold course. Thank you.“

“There were four employees working and they were all friendly, welcoming and attentive.

The chopped barbecue sandwich and Mac and cheese were delicious. The chicken was a little dry but still had good flavor.

“Spaulding's is a great "townie" bar. Family friendly with good food, good staff, and good daily specials. Lots of TVs and multiple sports are on all the time. Taco Tuesday is always good and they have Trivia Thursday nights. Decent draft beer selection and a full bar. Pool tables and a few electronic games too. GOOD TIMES!!“

“Redrock Canyon Grill last night for a birthday dinner. There was double booking on our reservation that we placed a week ago, and we got the short end of the stick. Poor communication aside though, here's how dinner went. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer, and when it came out, the plate had like 6 chips on it. Seemed pretty steep for the price ($15), but we asked for more chips and they brought out an entire plate more for free. It came with the dip, as well as a small cup of salsa. Both tasted great! Extra chips made up for the perceived lack of portion size. For a main course, I got the 10oz Filet with mashed potatoes, and "something green" (green beans). The Filet was excellently prepared at requested "medium", with a ton of flavor! It was a stark contrast to what we got at Salt**ass. Tender, juicy, and well seasoned, with a nice crust! Sizes came in 6oz(?), 10oz, and 14oz. Easily the best steak I've had at a restaurant. I wish I would've gotten the 14oz, but not because I was still hungry....I just didn't want to good time to end. 🥴 Next up was the mashed potatoes.....and ho-lee-sht. Creamy, full of flavor! I could be wrong, but i felt like I tasted onions in them? I dont really know what's in them for sure, but i feel like I need to create a Redrock Anonymous group to deal with the withdraw I will be battling, until we inevitably go back. Green beans were also excellent. Not a lot to go over in specifics, but they were awesome, and the perfect companion to the rest of the culinary masterpieces on my plate. Our waitress was super attentive, and quick to refill drinks before they were empty. Very knowledgeable in specials and pricing, and overall a great communicator. This was literally the best meal I've had out at a restaurant, period, and Redrock is likely going to be our go-to for celebrations, and date night's from now on. Many of us didn’t experience the ‘50s, but diners are apart of the American landscape that chances are you have great memories in a ‘50s themed diner, or at least relate to it as a symbol of American culture. Our server, Flash was outstanding he was very friendly and personable. we had a good conversation with him aswell. our food was right on par and the presentation looked great. we fi shed our lunch with a giant sundae. “Kaylyn is always so sweet and attentive, always ask me how I am doing, even if I do not sit at one of her tables. The girls at Twin Peaks all act like they are sisters/best friends. Their close friendships with each other and team spirit always puts me in a great mood. U.V., Taylor, Mati, Sav and so many others go out of their way to help. I am a busy insurance agent and I do lots of my work from the Twin Peaks table, in between appointments. It works out great for me.“

“This dfac is clean, has good food and a decent selection of snacks and drinks (bottled or fountain).During the covid era, the dfac has coasters on the tables (kind of akin to Texas de Brazil steakhouses) that have green thumbs up graphics signifying the table is sanitized and ready to use, and red X's on the back, signifying the table has been used and needs cleaning.“

“When we travel we usually only have the hotel booked, food is basically whatever is available wherever we are. We really rely on ratings given by others, so we do our part to share honestly. Well, we can honestly say this bbq was really worth the stop. We had the sliced brisket and the loaded backed potato, and both were delicious. For our sides we had the potato salad and baked beans. The beans were some of the best I've ever had. They were loaded with chunks of brisket and brown sugar. The pit master GAVE us 4 bbq smoked wings to sample and the ladies at the counter were very friendly. If you are wondering if you should try it, start that car and make your way there.“

“at around 11pm on 11/30/23 my daughter and son in law ubered to this location (in preparation to not drive home if they has alcoholic beverages) upon entering the established they were refused service while patrons who were actively being served laughed and said "sucks to be you N****r!" the staff then began to laugh and did not reprimand the patron or try to fix the situation by offering service. My daughter paid to get to this establishment only to be met with racism by both staff and patrons. I am absolutely disgusting and heartbroken that they had to deal with this type of embarrassment and hurtful behavior. I will also be contact the GM of this location as well as going as high up in the management chain as need be. I am a retail GM and have been in retail & restaurant management most of my adult life and would never allow this type of behavior in any establishment I run. DISGUSTING!!!“

“I went to a celebration dinner at Chester’s. I wasn’t quite sure what I would eat since I’ve been stuck in the “mom zone” for so long, eating meals that would please children. But the staff did not judge, and was very friendly and knowledgeable on their menu. They helped me decided what I should try. I was not disappointed. The food was delicious! This is definitely a place to take someone you are trying to impress. Everything is well taken care of and clean. The staff seemed to take pride in their appearance and work.“

“The positive points are the following: 1. The wait staff have great personalities. Our waitress had a awesome personality. She went above her service for making sure that we had everything. The place was very busy and the waitress explained that to us. We were a party of 8 people. So, she was repeating coming back and forth to our big table. 2. The appetizers are fantastic and yes, worth the prices for them. We started out the big jalapeno poppers with shrimp inside them. Plus Onion fries as well. The taste was so good with that coating on the outside of each one of them. He order 12 of them for all of us. As we were finishing up with them. One of the managers brought out to our big table. Another round of 12 Jalapeño poppers. Plus a big size plate of onion fries as well. 3. We order all variations of steaks. We all had salads except for two people. Our steaks were fantastic cook to the way we all like them. Everyone had to ask for a box. In order to take food home because that's how much you get. We all got full from the appetizers and our salads. that we were able to see a little bit of our steaks and potatoes. But we had to take a lot home. That will tell you how big the portions are at Saltgrass.The quality is so delicious you don't need steak sauce to put on top of it. 4. The staff make sure that you do get your money worth from dining there. The negative points are the following: 1. It was a Friday night. 2. We we're a group of eight people. 3. We got there at 6pm. The hostess said it would be an hour to an hour in a half, before we could be seated. So, no problem as we understand that from being a big party. Our problem started after an hour and a half. As the Hostess was seating other big groups who just walked in the door. I went up to the hostess station and asked what was going on? We got two different answers from two different hostesses. One hostess said it would be another 30 minutes until we could be seated. But we saw other big groups being seated ahead of us. Which didn't set well with us. Lucky one of the managers walked up to the hostess station. She heard what was going on and it didn't set well with her as well. Because the hostesses should be on the same page about seating groups. 4. We got they're at 6:00 p.m. and was not seated until 7:50. So, yes there is something wrong with that picture. We always goes there to eat and this is the first time we had a major problem. 5. Yes, I say problem because honestly there is no excuse for it whatsoever. Even being a party of eight versus a party of four. In closing we still stood there and waited. Our bill was over $375.00. We will continue to go back. But this one time experience was not a happy one for us.“
