“We have been going to the Las Vaquitas Mexican Restaurant since Caesar and Connie recruited their family and opened their doors to Derby residents. It’s rare to find a place where the owners are in the kitchen and on the floor making sure every guest feels welcome. The food is incredible and service is professional and friendly. I thought the idea of covering the check of a few of their patrons was a sweet holiday idea. When it happened to us, we were incredibly grateful. Huge thanks to the entire staff for showing their appreciation to a couple of regular customers. Please support this LOCAL restaurant, you will not be disappointed!!!“

“I took my mother there I was overly satisfied with the whole experience and the price was up there sorry for the slang is was pricey however it was so worth it overall best experience quality wise and quantity Ten Stars going back soon oh ps the taste OMG the taste was so amazing like I spent a 120 but me and my Mom couldn’t finish and we are both well seasoned seafood eaters we couldn’t finish it cause it was so much food Ten Stars Will Be Returning In Speed Light“

“My husband and I came here to get some better crab legs than the other place across the way. Jessica was our bartender/ server. She was very friendly, had a great personality, and did an amazing job. The food came out in a timely fashion and it was delicious!!! I would highly recommend this Red Lobster!! We will be back. :)“

“I absolutely love this place! The food is always ready in about 10 minutes and tastes incredible every single time. I’ve had the pad Thai, pad see ew, Tom yum, egg rolls, crab rangoon, chicken stir fry, beef jerky with sticky rice. All amazing! The staff is so friendly and sweet, especially with my son, which makes it even more special for us. And the matcha melon drink is literally made of dreams!!“

“Small family owned restaurant. Clean and low light inside. Food was phenomenal! The calamari was perfectly paired with a honey sauce! Delicious 1000/10. The crying tiger dish was another perfectly seasoned dish. The chili sauce on the side has that creeping heat, very tasty! Ordered the crab fried rice came with real pieces of crab! Everything was wonderful and lovely service! Definitely a must try!“

“We had the mac n cheese bites to share. I got a platter with 3 chicken tenders and a catfish fillet with potatoes and gravy for the side. My mom got 3 chicken tenders with fries. The gravy was alright for fast food but not my favorite, I dipped my chicken in it and that was good but I didn't want to eat just the potatoes and gravy. The chicken tenders are big. Neither of us could finish all 3. Mac n cheese bites were really good but they seemed like they were made with box mac n cheese? Not that that's a bad thing necessarily but it wasn't what I expected. The catfish was really good. The fries were amazing. They were kind of like popeyes with the really crisp coating. The ranch was clearly bottled instead of made fresh. My family is kind of snooty when it comes to ranch so it wasn't up to our high standards. The woman at the register was really nice and made sure we knew that the mac n cheese bites were fried triangles, not just regular mac n cheese. The food was all out pretty quickly. I was very sad that they didn't have the deep fried ice cream. I've been looking for a restaurant with real deep fried ice cream for probably about 7 years now and this was the first place I saw that had pictures in the reviews of it. But they don't have it right now Hope they bring it back soon“

“IGNORE the 1 star reviews. Boo.
We USED to go to the LJS on Rock Rd. After going to this Pawnee store we decided that is our new LJS location. For these reasons:
1. Very friendly staff
2. CLEAN! The whole time we ate there was always someone walking around checking the tables. Our table was not sticky like Rock location.
3. This should be number 1 because:
...fish was exactly like it was when I was a kid, so we're the hush puppies and Cole slaw. Rock location not anywhere near that.
4. No reused condiment bottles. Thid Pawnee location uses packets. Yay! Nothing in this location is sticky!

Great job Pawnee location. My husband and I were very, very pleased and left pleasantly full. Bravo!!!!! Whatever youre doing keep it up! Service and quality these days is close to null. Your location is excellent! God bless!“
