PS.. you MUST improve your sign outside, it looks like a "For Lease" sign, and that neon one is so bright. Make it look better on the outside and I hope you will be busy all the time with thankful neighborhood residents ??“

“Amazing!! A lot of sushi restaurants have gone down hill in the past couple years and while I get why, rising prices making it hard for restaurants to stay afloat, it doesn’t make for good sushi. The quality of the fish is often not great and the amount served compared to the rice makes it seem like a total waste of money. I hadn’t been to Friends in a couple years, moved further a way and kind of forgot about it but this is my second time in the past couple weeks and it’s sooo good. Fish quality a 5, fish quantity a 5 and service a 5. Definitely my go to sushi place now ❤️“

“Anousone is a rare Star of a restaurant here in Kansas City. The staff is attentive, competent and friendly, and every dish they put out is made and served with professionalism and care. The chef has far exceeded an expectation of simple hospitality to something better- the food and the service feels like being welcomed home. The fried Brussel sprouts were perfectly balanced and crispy with a touch of sweetness. The khao poon was very rich, the perfect dish to warm you up on a cold morning. The star of the show was the whole fried Branzino special, served with rice and stir fried veggies and a smoky-sweet soy sauce. With the Crème brûlée to top things off, this was a meal fit for kings. Whether you need a place to impress out-of-town guests or a place to relax and warm up, Anousone is the place to be.“

“My husband and I decided to eat here late at night. The awesome thing is they are open super late. The food was good. The staff was super nice. We really enjoyed the experience here. You do have to cut through the casino to get to it so have you ID with you! I would recommend this place for sure!“

“Amazing per usual. Food is always so fresh and delicious and the staff is bright and helpful. It’s a great spot for a date or to bring a big group of friends. The patio is cozy and I love to sit next to the Koi pond. I had a summer special mint beef salad that I continue to crave. The deserts are also incredible. One of my favorite spots that never disappoints“

“It was one of the places that I had on my Google maps that I ended up noticing about this place and decided to give it a try that seems like a fast food like place that's really clean and try to do things that look healthy in a certain way that mostly has wraps tacos and bowls and even burgers and that someone actually did suggest the fish tacos from this place that I actually had the Caribbean wrap it was all right it did have some flavor to it and also it is someplace you can stop by if you're in that shopping plaza something that has healthy options and have mid prices so far.
Vegetarian options: Notice it does have something for vegetarians.“

“My daughter and I went on a daddy daughter date here and it was a great time! She loves the noodles and the crab meat, they also weren’t oily like at most buffets! I enjoyed the variety of foods and even had some fried tilapia!!! Love it, definitely coming back with my family. Staff were friendly, environment was quiet and peaceful, great first experience overall!“

“From the moment I stepped through the door until the moment I left, the entire dining experience was exceptional. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by the host, who promptly seated me without delay, setting the tone for the attentive and friendly service I would receive throughout the evening.
My server, Cliff, went above and beyond to make the evening memorable. He was not only attentive but also extremely knowledgeable about the menu. When it came to choosing wine, he listened carefully to my preferences and offered several excellent options that perfectly suited my taste, demonstrating his expertise and genuine care for the dining experience.
When the food arrived, it was clear that great attention had been paid to the quality and presentation. Every dish was served fresh, steaming hot, and bursting with flavor. Each bite was delicious, exceeding my expectations. Additionally, the menu itself was thoughtfully designed—it was concise and easy to read, which I appreciated because it made choosing my meal straightforward and enjoyable. Each menu item clearly outlined its ingredients and accompaniments, eliminating any guesswork.
Although my overall experience was fantastic, I do wish the restaurant offered a broader selection of sushi dishes, as their limited sushi options left me wanting more. Nevertheless, the exceptional service, especially from Cliff, and the delicious food have certainly ensured that I will return again.
