Cafe Tikal Reviews
So good
Had a meeting here, the food was amazing. We had steak tacos with beans and rice, and a steak burrito with beans and rice. Meat was seasoned to perfection, tender and plenty of it, beans were creamy best I've had since my grandmother passed. Service was great, checked on us several times, made sure we had everything we needed. We are definitely going back to sample other dishes.
Some EDM on Thursdays
Cafe Tikal is a welcoming spot with friendly staff and clean surroundings. The food is great, with highlights including terrific pupusas and excellent customer service. The owner/manager is warm and helpful, and waitstaff are attentive and sweet. The food and coffee are both good, and prices are reasonable. Customers enjoy trying traditional Guatemalan dishes like chili relleno, which has a unique flavor reminiscent of a crab cake, and soft tacos made with corn tortillas. Chips and salsa are not always served, but guests can expect fresh fried tortillas with beans. The aguachiles and Veracruzana are spicy and flavorful, and customers appreciate the good service, even when mistakes happen. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, making it easy for everyone to enjoy the experience. Overall, Cafe Tikal offers authentic cuisine in a friendly environment that encourages guests to explore Guatemalan flavors.
