“Sweet little family owned BBQ place with affordable prices. We tried the brisket, ribs and pork. We liked the ribs the best. They didn't have a kid's menu so I just shared with my daughter. They also charge .50 for drink refills which is definitely understandable. They sell meat by the pound and also a big family pack for $40. They also had chocolate cake which we didn't try but looked amazing. The decor was lots of vintage art and knickknacks. The young lady who was our waitress was very kind and managed multiple tables well.“

“We ate at Barrel Boys today for lunch. Honestly, I am really really picky with meat and I’m telling you this was the best BBQ we have ever had anywhere, including KC barbecue! I had brisket and my hubby had ribs, we both shared with each other. For sides I had the brisket baked beans and creamy corn, both delicious! The brisket was so lean and tender and so were the ribs. Great addition to Wichita and we can’t wait to go back! When the weather cools off, the outdoor dining will be great!“

“Tried Tanker BBQ for the first time today. Best ribs I ever had. Staff was friendly. The food looks just like the pictures they post (and tastes how you'd imagine). Will come back! I do have to say though, having anxiety, I almost didn't go here because there isn't any useful information available online. A menu, if they have sides, if they accept credit, if it's a sit-down restaurant or strictly take out. Almost settled for something familiar. Work on that info Tanker!“

“When we travel we usually only have the hotel booked, food is basically whatever is available wherever we are. We really rely on ratings given by others, so we do our part to share honestly. Well, we can honestly say this bbq was really worth the stop. We had the sliced brisket and the loaded backed potato, and both were delicious. For our sides we had the potato salad and baked beans. The beans were some of the best I've ever had. They were loaded with chunks of brisket and brown sugar. The pit master GAVE us 4 bbq smoked wings to sample and the ladies at the counter were very friendly. If you are wondering if you should try it, start that car and make your way there.“

These ribs were so full of flavor that I felt bad for everyone around me that weren’t eating them. This comfort food is so comfortable that it should be in sweatpants and an oversized t-shirt. “There were four employees working and they were all friendly, welcoming and attentive.

The chopped barbecue sandwich and Mac and cheese were delicious. The chicken was a little dry but still had good flavor.

“This was a bargain of a place let me tell you! The ribs were great, very saucy and sticky, but great! My Carolina pulled pork sandwich was the best I've had in a while. My man was quite surprised by how many ribs he got for his $13. This seemed like a relatively new location so go give them a try. Yum.“

“The whole family liked this place. My daughters got the kids kebobs with fries, they liked the chicken better than lamb. My husband loved the gyro. I got a gnocchi with chicken and it was so good and I liked the bread on the side too. My son had the salmon, he loves all salmon dishes. We were just passing through on the way to Texas. Wish they had this place in our area.

“Great ? customer service. The gentlemen who served me made me feel warmly welcomed. The young man that gave me my food saw that I was thirsty drinking all the tea. He said, "there are free refills" and called out my order... Politely, saying, "here you are thirsty man." Very well mannered and such a delight to see young men still calling you sir and ma'am. “It was a little hectic, and on waiting and communication on the staff was a little off. Once we got seated, though, the waiter was very nice and friendly. Very attentive and very helpful. The food was really, really good. The steaks were like cutting through butter and very flavorful. Super Amazing!The Lobster was a little to fishy tasting but wasn't too bad. The baked potato was really good and fresh and the brussel sprouts were Amazing as well!Got pictures but after we started eating. Overall, was pretry good experience and food was great!
