This venue had a very nice vibe. One of the chairs collapsed with an average sized, elderly man sitting very quietly and calmly in it and he fell flat on his back. Made me a little worried about the integrity of the chair I was sitting in. But other than that the venue was nice.
Abe & Jake’s Landing is one of the most recognizable and visually distinctive event venues in downtown Lawrence, Kansas. From a professional DJ and Photo Booth perspective, it’s an outstanding industrial-style venue that combines historic architecture, modern production flexibility, and an energetic downtown atmosphere that works perfectly for weddings, receptions, concerts, corporate events, and private parties.

Really nice venue for dancing Argentine Tango and likely other dances as well. Lots of space, great open architecture. Bar available.
