“I have purchased a couple of “KEY LIME PIES” (in the past) that were outta this world delicious, from the key lime filling to the best graham cracker crust ever. I heard about their Friday night Fried Chicken so we brought some friends and tried it out. Well I thought nothing could get better than the pies but….. This fried chicken is fall off the bone tenderest tastiest chicken I’ve had and so is the mac and cheese. Everything we put in our mouth from this meal was fresh, tasty, hot and delicious. It’s a quant, little diner with fast friendly service. The Expresso Martini is one of the best Ive had too…. I highly recommend and we’ll be back again soon!!!“

“The food was amazing as always, but the coffee was bitter. I a hoping for several cups of coffee to go along with breakfast, but it was so bitter i was afraid I would end up with horrible heartburn.
The service was spot on. I haven't received such great service at busy breakfast restaurants in a very long time. I am impressed. I will definitely go again, i just won't be ordering coffee.“

“We made reservations well in advance for Christmas Eve dinner at The Eldridge. Our service was so terrible and our waitress was so rude, we left after we finally got our incorrect drink order. We sat for an unreasonably long time before we were even greeted. After the waitress was openly hostile to us, we left money on the table for the incorrect drinks and left before we even ordered dinner. We walked 10 steps over to 715 and were greeted warmly and seated immediately at the bar. The service was top notch and the food was wonderful. The atmosphere was lively, fun and bustling. If you want great service, excellent food and great atmosphere, just go next door to 715. They saved our Christmas Eve date night, and we didn’t even have reservations! Thank you 715!!“

She had a big group seated by us but continued to provide excellent service to us as-well as the other tables around us. Our steaks were excellent, and the manager even comes to check up on you. Couldn’t say better things about Jason, Megan, and my entire experience! Definitely will be celebrating more occasions here!“

“This was my first time here and I was blown away. I got the chili rojo beef and sweet potato nachos. They were amazing on their own, but the hot sauce that came on the side was like a spicy cherry on top. And the margarita was one of the best I’ve ever had! Well done!“

“I DO love me some local pizza! Papa Kenos was just a short walk from my hotel, so off I went. Very friendly staff, great small pizzeria feel and their thin crust pizza really hit the spot. A little TOO much! I meant to take half of it to the hotel for later.... I left empty-handed, but with a very full stomach!“

“So my ex and I used to come here throughout our relationship, from 2018 to I think 2022, when they were only doing order pickups. I hope to come back soon to try their delicious authentic food. I tried the Chong Qing spicy beef in March/April, it was just like I remembered, spicy and delicious. The last time I came I think in July, the beef was cut differently, like long strips instead of the squared flat chunks and not as flavorful- but still pretty good. I guess my only suggestion to the restaurant is please follow the recipes you’ve followed before the move , because those are what garnered your popularity ?“

“My husband made patio reservations here for my birthday and it was absolutely amazing! We live an hour and half away and it was definitely worth the drive. I had the paella and my husband had the lamb that was on special and both dishes were great. I am not normally a fan of lamb but it was so yummy I would order it for myself. The dessert and cocktails were perfect and the staff was excellent.We haven't stopped raving about it since we were there. I highly recommend it and we will definitely make another trip to visit!“

“Best Chinese food in town and in the surrounding area. We have tried a gazillion different Chinese restaurants and all fall short to China House. Who would know a small town would have such a great Chinese restaurant?. It’s very authentic, food tastes hot and fresh every time!! When we lived in the area we would order every Friday night. We just passed through while traveling and had to get us our fix. Of course it didn’t disappoint at all. We have tried many dishes there but we’d recommend the beef and broc combination, sweet and sour pork combination. Their house friend rice has great variety of the meats. Pork fried rice is fresh and pork pieces are crispy and delicious. Chicken fried rice has crispy chicken which doesn’t make for weird gray pieces like some places. White rice is cooked perfectly, not mush. Egg rolls and crab Rangoon always freshly fried. I love their hot oils as well. Would also recommend the veg lo mein. Noodles cooked great not soggy, veggies still have bite left to them, not super soft. Service is always fast and friendly. I always call in my orders and they are kind enough to repeat the order back to me to ensure it’s correct. The only sad part about this place is I live so far away from it now.“

“It's a poké place but I go for the ramen. The stuff is addictive and I'm forcing myself to NOT go because I can't eat ramen every day. But the poké itself is great too! And there are lots of cooked options for people who are afraid of raw fish.“

“Service was fine; I would appreciate more friendly/welcoming/introduction from the server. They did check in on us a few times. The chips were thick and kind of tough; we prefer thin and crispy. The salsa was okay but wasn't anything special. Our beverages and entrées were as ordered. Our favorite dishes were the mushroom quesadilla and fajita veggie quesadilla. The gold margaritas beat out the regular ones, and were decently priced. We had a hard time hearing each other over the din of other patrons. Will try again sometime.“

“Pepperjax has been my favourite since I was in middle school. When I moved to Lawrence, I was estatic to find out that there was a Pepperjax, as the one in my hometown closed down during COVID. The philly and the nachos are always my go-to for a good cheat meal or a studying all-nighter.“

“Loved our experience at Fields & Ivy. I have a citrus allergy, and they were very understanding and accommodating. The chef even mentioned what foods include citric acid. If you are looking for a nice place that cares about you, this is it!“

“We have been here a few times and it does not disappoint. We have only been for the Saturday and Sunday lunch buffet. The last time we were there, they had what said was ginger chicken. It was incredible. It was hot, fresh and had great flavor. Everything has always been great but I really hope they keep that ginger chicken on the buffet. You know it is good when you are craving it ! Can't wait to go back. Probably this weekend or next.“

Parking: Parking is a bit tight. When we arrived (about 6:30 pm), there were two slots available in their lot. Inside, there was plenty of seating available - we were immediately seated. As we left, I noticed a pair walking from their car in a lot across the street. Still, the food is worth it.“

“I do like most things from hog wild but I have to mention this. Sour cream does **not** get baked. When heated, it curdles into hard, dry crumbles, and that’s not how anyone wants their sour cream. It needs to be packaged separately or put on top of the potato, not underneath cheese and everything else. It’s gross and it ruins an otherwise perfectly fine potato. That just isn’t how dairy should be prepared for safe consumption. Really hope you guys take this as a serious request because this is not the first potato I’ve got like this and it’s really disgusting.“

“First time here and the service was superb! Emily the waitress was attentive, knowledgeable and very kind. The front door staff were extremely helpful and respectful during a very busy night. The food was hot and tasted as well as it was advertised! For a family of 8 with 3 grown grown men...we all ate well!
