I had the 1/2 Reuben and Potato leek soup and WOW, best I’ve ever had! Husband enjoyed his sandwich very much and the onion rings were also 10/10! When I make my way back to KC I may eat every meal here! So good!”

Shortly afterward, manager Becca Stout personally reached out, apologized, and provided us with a gift card, inviting us to return and give them another chance. I’m very glad we did. Our recent visit was excellent — the food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the overall experience was outstanding. “I came to Kansas City over the weekend and experienced the delight that is your restaurant. If I ever get back there you’ll see me again. The food was amazing, but I loved the words on your menu and the whole vibe that comes from locally sourced goods. Your menu spoke of kindness and community. I accidentally left my phone in your bathroom when I left. Since we were on our way back to Chicago it was definitely something I needed to find and it could have been a completely stressful experience. It wasn’t. You weren’t just serving up food. I went out to the car so my friend could call my son and have him find my iPhone the thing but we never got to that. A lovely gentleman in a blue track jacket came knocking gleefully at the window. They had found it and he was so happy to tell me. When I came back in to get it your restaurant was packed and it was very busy and yet I felt like every person there had just stopped everything for a moment to find my phone. The excitement when they gave it back to me was amazing. It was a truly beautiful experience. I totally had the New York omelette, but what I was really ordering was the “cultivate kindness” printed right there on the menu. It was even better than the food and that’s saying something because those rosemary potatoes were the bomb diggity ;) Thank you 💙♥️💙”

There is an ordering kiosk for those who prefer less social interaction. Street parking only, free, since it's in a strip mall.

Bruú has mainly 2 person seating, both inside & outside. The outside tables can all be pushed together for up to ~8 people. Very cozy and bright, with lovely uplifting yet relaxed mood music.”

A dynamite waitress, sweet and so accommodating of whatever we asked. No goofs even with this huge group. And……..I brought two special occasion pies for dessert. She put them in the cooler. She even cut and served them for us!! I cannot compliment Lauren enough for her over the top service & kindness to us. Delicious food too!)”

“We recently hosted a rehearsal dinner and welcome reception at Rye Leawood and we had an incredible experience. From early on in the planning process to the event itself, the experience was expectational. They went above and beyond. India, the Event Manager, was so helpful with the planning of the room design, food menu, and beverage menu. Everything I requested she delivered on - the perfect layout of the room to accommodate the rehearsal dinner followed by the welcome reception to the entire menu being gluten and dairy free. She answered every email in a timely manner and met with me multiple times to over questions I had. She was so great to work with. The food was delicious! Every dish from appetizers to desserts was beautifully presented and so flavorful - I didn't know GF/DF could be so delicious. We have received so many compliments about the menu. The service was outstanding. The staff was so professional. They know how to work an event - incredibly efficient and attentive. Our guests were well taken care of. The entire event ran so smoothly. If you are looking for a venue for your special event, I highly recommend Rye Leawood - amazing food, outstanding service and an incredible experience. Our event was unforgettable. “We could not be happier with the service at this Smoothie King. The managers,CJ and Kayla, have gone above and beyond for us for years. For the past 4 years, we've preordered smoothies for the entire team before games. They take time to label each one, consider any dietary restrictions, put them on ice, and let them take their cooler to take to the boys. We just bring back the cooler the next day.we couldn't be happier to support such a great place!”

“Minsky's has been my favorite pizza place since high school in the late 70's (Yes! I was born in the 1900's 😅🤣😂). I love the options (I'm vegetarian), the quality of the food, and the atmosphere. There are other pizza places that come close, but this my 1st choice. I'll always come back.”

“There was a fried caterpillar in my fried rice. $50 of food straight to the trash. I will never eat here again and suggest other people do the same. I am disgusted. Also: Facebook would not let me leave a review unless I put that I “recommend” the restaurant so take that for what it’s worth when reading reviews 🙂”

“Shake Shack food quality is top notch for a fast food restaurant. The burgers are excellent. The Shack Burger is always perfectly done. The patty edges are crispy and the ingredients fresh. You can add pickles, onions, and other basic toppings for free. The Smokehouse burger is also a favorite. The bacon is well-cooked and the cherry peppers add a bit of heat to the burger.

Fries are crispy on the outside and soft inside. Highly recommend the cheese fries if you like tangy melted cheese!

I never leave Shake Shack without a shake. You can’t go wrong with the chocolate or vanilla. Love that they have a wide variety of flavor options and even floats if you don’t want a shake.

The only downside is this location can get very busy during lunch and dinner. My wait time during peak hours can be around 20 minutes. Also, just a heads up there is no drive through!”
