“Just discovered this gem of a restaurant today. Food is upscale, creative and delicious. Service was outstanding. I had Besan Chella Omelette with Sweet Potato Hash, a Lavendar Lemondade and Coconut Panna Cotta! All outstanding. I will be back and work my way through everything on the menu!“

“Good sandwiches, but the young guy with the silly looking mustache and no other facial hair needs to learn how to help people. I thought I heard my named called, so I walked up to the counter, where I saw a number of orders. As I was looking at them, he comes up and asks "are you picking up for delivery?" I said "im waiting for my order for John". He says "okay" and just walks back to the kitchen. I thought he would at least give me a status update of my order, but nothing. He should have said "these are delivery orders only, but your order will be out soon" instead of blankly staring at me, as if I can telepathically read his thoughts.

Nevertheless, I'll be coming back for those damn good sandwiches ?“

“I had come off a 14 hour shift, and was too tired to prepare a meal at home. Looking at my choices:
1) Waldo Pizza: out of my way to go there.
2) Topper's: closed !
3) Minsky's: OK, but sparse vegan options.
So I ended up with 4) Sarpino's. They have a full vegan menu, like Waldo's. Also, easy online ordering, and it was ready for me when I arrived. It was no more expensive than Waldo's for a decent pie, and a lot closer.“

“Cute lil place! We got the Cafe de Olla and Creme Brûlée Concha and everything was yummy. The Cafe de Olla was a touch sweeter than I normally like with coffee but the depth of flavor of all the spices really helped balance the sweetness. “Walking in, the restaurant was much nicer than I expected. We arrived 30 minutes before closing, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The Don Corleone pizza, loaded with processed meats, wasn't overwhelmingly salty. The Pepperoni Pizza was excellent too. Both had a medium-sized crust with a good crunch. Neither pizza was too oily or doughy. If you enjoy dipping in ranch or adding Parmesan, those are complimentary. When it was time to go, they happily boxed up our leftovers, using aluminum foil to separate the two types of pizza we ordered.“

Staff friendly and the interior was clean as usual. A bit expensive but these days you really get what you pay for in terms of quality ingredients. Don’t skimp.“

The duck had heirloom carrots with hazelnuts. The steak was served with beef fat potatoes! Seriously Delicious!! We took home a piece of the chocolate ganache cake. Can't wait to enjoy it later!! They were very busy this evening when I came in a little early for my online order. They offered me a drink while I waited and I got to try the cucumber mint lime drink, it was very good. The staff even went out of their way to accommodate a special request I had, which I really appreciated!“

“I’ve recently taken an interest in trying all my local Indian resturaunts and let me tell you this place did not disappoint! The ambiance was amazing as soon as you step in, and the music was a great addition. I went with some friends and we all loved what we got (chicken tikki masala, butter chicken, and chicken korma, alongside the veggie samosas and garlic naan) We also got to try a dessert it was la mango rice pudding that was also delicioussss, we were all stuffed!!! “So glad we came across this hidden GEM!, Amir Mediterranean. The food was fabulous, my daughter and I had the Steak kabob platter and the Gyro platter, which came with lentil soup, salad, hummus and baba ghanoush. The owner, TK was so fun and he let us sample the Turkish tea and the Baklava, everything was so delicious, we ate all of it!!!! We definitely will be back.“

“I came to Kansas City over the weekend and experienced the delight that is your restaurant. If I ever get back there you’ll see me again. The food was amazing, but I loved the words on your menu and the whole vibe that comes from locally sourced goods. Your menu spoke of kindness and community. I accidentally left my phone in your bathroom when I left. Since we were on our way back to Chicago it was definitely something I needed to find and it could have been a completely stressful experience. It wasn’t. You weren’t just serving up food. I went out to the car so my friend could call my son and have him find my iPhone the thing but we never got to that. A lovely gentleman in a blue track jacket came knocking gleefully at the window. They had found it and he was so happy to tell me. When I came back in to get it your restaurant was packed and it was very busy and yet I felt like every person there had just stopped everything for a moment to find my phone. The excitement when they gave it back to me was amazing. It was a truly beautiful experience. I totally had the New York omelette, but what I was really ordering was the “cultivate kindness” printed right there on the menu. It was even better than the food and that’s saying something because those rosemary potatoes were the bomb diggity ;) Thank you 💙♥️💙“
