“Uptown Lounge has a great atmosphere! I love the live music that's not over the top. Not only are the musicians great to listen to, they have a personality that just makes things relaxing and enjoyable without feeling forced. Drinks are great and change with the seasons. So much fun listening to Vonne singing with the musicians while making drinks and attending to the patrons. Unique skillset that is rarely seen and treasured to observe.“

“Really enjoyed my visit here. Been meaning to make it out here for a while. Cocktail bar with books for reading and sale, lots of board games, some comfy couches. Solid mocktail list. Cocktails are in the $13-15 range, mocktails are $10-12. Wines by the glass or bottle also available, as well as weekly specials, happy hour (including 10% off a book purchase during HH!), coffees, and teas. Great place to hang out in the crossroads. No food available.“

“The place was booked with reservations when we showed up. They had two empty seats at the bar so we grabbed them. So glad we did!! The bartenders were fun, the service was great (my glass was never empty and they were busy), and the food was really good!!! I'd recommend Cliff's Taphouse to my friends!!“

“Great bar well worth a visit. They have a selection of often allocated Bourbon on their chalk board at reasonable prices for a pour. Also a highly skilled bartender who makes handcrafted cocktails with top notch ingredients. Also a great selection of Bourbon, liquor, and aromatics for sale. Highly recommended if you're in the lively North Kansas City Armour Road scene.“

“Stunning decor and cocktails were so delicious! Service was excellent as well. Highly recommend for your night out.My only side note for improvement on food (hence the 4 stars instead of 5) would be dessert. We had the pistachio gelato was just ice cream and the affogato was very acidic, but everything else was incredible!“

“Being stuck at the Hospital on the plaza has a silver living when you can walk down the street and get great food! I have been here several time and tried several items and they have all been so good. The people are very nice and cheerful. Try them out and you will be hooked!

“Husband and I stopped in and got The La Hog Pizza. it was great as well as Dealer's Choice bucket of domestic beers. Great lunch ! We always enjoy it here and indoor or outdoor seating depending on the mood. Thank you to all staff who have checked on us from the time we entered until we closed out our check. “Was really good! Some of the best cocktails I've ever had. Came in during Sunday happy hour after 4 and was told all cocktails are $2 off, however got charged full price for one of hours. Bartender was too busy to ask about it after we got the itemized receipt. Overall, delicious. Just wish we would have gotten the full special.“

“We hosted our cocktail hour for our wedding at The Kill Devil Club while we had our ceremony and reception at The Gallery and it was SO FUN!!! It was the perfect spot for our guests to go while the ballroom was being transitioned into our reception! I would highly recommend Kill Devil to anyone having their wedding at The Gallery Event Space!!!“

“Food is really good, I've ordered many times from them but my last order included an $8.25 fee for carry out supplies. They charge a percent of the entire bill. No where in the check out process do they tell you this. This seems excessive for 6 utensil packs and 5 takeout containers. Many other BBQ places with similar price points do not charge this fee. If you are going to charge extra fees be up front about it.“

“The Primrose in Mission offers a nice, relaxed atmosphere with a decent selection of cocktails. The interior has a cozy, upscale feel, and the drinks are well-crafted and flavorful. However, while it's a pleasant spot for a drink, there are definitely other cocktail bars in Kansas City that stand out more.
The menu is solid but not particularly unique, and the vibe, while enjoyable, doesn’t quite set it apart from other places in the city. Service is generally good, but the overall experience doesn't quite reach the level of some of KC's more notable cocktail spots.
Overall, The Primrose is a fine choice for a casual evening out, but if you're looking for a more distinctive or memorable cocktail experience, you might want to explore some of the other standout bars in Kansas City.“
