“It’s way too hot in this place! You dealing with fruits and other raw ingredients the temperature inside should reflect it. Customer service is non existent but my smoothie was good. I saw a review said this location was the best. I have to disagree 95th street location is 100 times better! For that reason I won’t be back here.“

“I was in today and picked up my order. I usually go between a few locations as it depends on where I’m heading next. This is my favorite SK ever! The app order is always accurate (unlike others) and it’s usually waiting for me…again, unlike other locations. But today….they put my order in a protective bag to keep it safe from allergens. I have a food allergy and in all the years, this was a first! ❤️ Thankfully my reactions aren’t that severe, but there are many who fear contamination due to the severe reactions of just close proximity. Thank You!“

“I came to Kansas City over the weekend and experienced the delight that is your restaurant. If I ever get back there you’ll see me again. The food was amazing, but I loved the words on your menu and the whole vibe that comes from locally sourced goods. Your menu spoke of kindness and community. I accidentally left my phone in your bathroom when I left. Since we were on our way back to Chicago it was definitely something I needed to find and it could have been a completely stressful experience. It wasn’t. You weren’t just serving up food. I went out to the car so my friend could call my son and have him find my iPhone the thing but we never got to that. A lovely gentleman in a blue track jacket came knocking gleefully at the window. They had found it and he was so happy to tell me. When I came back in to get it your restaurant was packed and it was very busy and yet I felt like every person there had just stopped everything for a moment to find my phone. The excitement when they gave it back to me was amazing. It was a truly beautiful experience. I totally had the New York omelette, but what I was really ordering was the “cultivate kindness” printed right there on the menu. It was even better than the food and that’s saying something because those rosemary potatoes were the bomb diggity ;) Thank you 💙♥️💙“

“Hey, Smoothie King corporate, can we please get these poor teenagers some extra help? These two kids, who could not have been older than seventeen, were by themselves, manning the entire store alone. They did a fantastic job, mind you, but I could tell they were swamped and frustrated. That isn't fair at all.
If people don't want to work, PAY THEM MORE, so they stay employed. This is just absolutely insane. Or give these kids the ability to turn off online ordering so they aren't juggling a ton of tickets all at once.
I feel so awful for the staff at most of your stores. It's always one or two teenagers, fighting for their lives for minimum wage or just above.

They work hard and should be treated better.“

They do have other options for bowls and they also have a really good cold brew to top it all off. No need to stop at Starbucks, just come to one place!“

“Love Tropical Smoothie, but not this location. When a drink comes with the lime straw, it should be a given. Arguing about it and then saying we need to pay for them when it specifically says on the website that the edible lime straw comes with the mango drink! No problem though, we just took our 4-6 drink order (every day Mon-Fri) plus tip somewhere else. No need to be embarrassed in front of other people over a straw that comes with a drink.“

They take time to label each one, consider any dietary restrictions, put them on ice, and let them take their cooler to take to the boys. “This morning (10/10/21) around 8:45am there was a single employee working. She was taking all the orders and making them all herself. There was a line in the drive through in addition to the people inside. She was handling it like a champ and was still so friendly. We obviously gave her a tip because she deserved it, I just wish we could do more because she was an absolute legend. I hope management sees this and gives her the recognition she deserves. I just can't talk her up enough for handling what I would call an unbearably stressful situation.“
