Big smile, made sure several times that everything was ok.Wheelchair accessibility: My son is in a wheelchair. He loves going to olive garden. Always! Accommodating making sure we are comfortable. For obvious reason, I'd rather be in the front area because it's hard to maneuver thru crowds. (Which can get quite busy @ olive garden). So far our timing has worked, crowd behind us! “If you want authentic Cantonese food (southern China), this place is IT. I love their shrimp wontons, peking pork chops, pot stickers, salt and pepper stuffed eggplants. Their claypot dishes are also very authentic. Always satisfied when I walk out of ABC. Also love that they give you free hot tea and unlimited rice if you need more. Definitely feel at home in this place. For Chinese people we have very limited choices in authentic food, and I'm so glad they are offering it. My only wish is that they can expand the restaurant. It's small and can be very cramped when they are busy. A fun side note. I know of another restaurant in LA Monterey park chinatown area, called ABC cafe.. also serving Cantonese style food. I wonder if they "copied" their name from them. But I would say that this ABC is probably a lot better than that ABC cafe in LA. The LA one is known to be cheap... but questionable quality. This KC ABC is heads and shoulders above that one.“

“This is a nice restaurant, quaint. It's clean, inside and out. The restrooms were clean, too. The service was good. The food was good, and proportions were on point. The bread sticks were hot and fresh. Salad was very tasty. We didn't have to wait st all for a table. Great time!“
“The wife and I decided to not cook for Christmas this year. We drove by Taste of China and saw they were open so we decided to give them a try. I just dropped in so no pre order. I got the General's chicken, cashew chicken, and hot & sour soup. It took them about 10 minutes to put the order together and off I went. I could tell they were super busy, full staff in the kitchen all working hard to get food out the door. There was a steady stream of customers coming and going, never more than 2-3 of us in there. Prices everywhere have risen since the pandemic but once we dug in there was plenty of food in each container so pretty good value and we were very pleased with the taste and quality of the food. This is really more of a take out style restaurant as the decor is spartan and small. But we had good food, service and value. We liked it just fine.“
“Food here isn’t as good as it used to be. The chicken and wild rice soup used to taste better. There’s hardly any rice. Mostly it is just cream based soup with a couple things thrown in. I’m not sure what the chunks of white stuff were. Potato maybe? The Fuji apple chicken salad was just ok. The bear claw was just ok. They didn’t have hazelnut coffee, but the decaf was good. It was freezing cold inside. We got our food quickly. The lady taking orders is super nice but too slow when there’s a crowd. People behind me got tired of waiting in line.“
