The BEST Asian restaurant in the Northland! The food is absolutely amazing—every dish we’ve tried has been outstanding. The sushi is fresh and delicious, and the attention to detail is top-notch. You have to try the crab wontons—they’re a must! We just had the Tokyo crispy chicken, and it was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Honestly, I haven’t had a single thing here that I didn’t love.

We came in tonight and it was our first visit but it definitely won’t be our last. We moved here from Florida about 2 years ago and have been searching for a sushi spot that is just as good as our favorite place back home and hadn’t found it untill tonight. How to describe Saki? Wonderland. For many years I went to the location on 64th and I29 and always loved it. Yet somehow the new opening on n. Oak has surpassed it. The location is a little smaller, but the quality and service is even better. I've tried the Sushi and Asian entrees in all of the KC area on both sides of the line as well as in about half of the country and you won't find fresher sushi or more flavorful entrees. Saki is a small, cute place with fun Asian decor. The food is excellent, with large portions. Specific meals mentioned include Takoyaki Balls, Northland roll, Lucky Dragon roll, Godzilla roll, Bamboo roll, rock and roll sushi, tiger sushi, and tempura sushi. The presentations and display are great, and the taste is even better. The service is very friendly, polite, and amazing, with a wonderful staff. The establishment is very clean. It is easily one of the best spots in Kansas City and a new favorite spot. Highly recommended.
