“Anousone is a rare Star of a restaurant here in Kansas City. The staff is attentive, competent and friendly, and every dish they put out is made and served with professionalism and care. The chef has far exceeded an expectation of simple hospitality to something better- the food and the service feels like being welcomed home. The fried Brussel sprouts were perfectly balanced and crispy with a touch of sweetness. The khao poon was very rich, the perfect dish to warm you up on a cold morning. The star of the show was the whole fried Branzino special, served with rice and stir fried veggies and a smoky-sweet soy sauce. With the Crème brûlée to top things off, this was a meal fit for kings. Whether you need a place to impress out-of-town guests or a place to relax and warm up, Anousone is the place to be.“

“Chicken was delicious as always, first time we had the mac and cheese definitely will go back for that! Was not a fan of the greens, I like extreme flavor of my greens, but Tanner brought out some vinegar something that helped give it a bit more of a bite! Okra is always my favorite! Even if I order nothing else from Gus's I will always order the okra. Yes it's high-priced but everything is high-priced anymore, no matter where you go. Thanks again Tanner we will definitely be back if not for the great service, for the fried okra, chicken and now the mac and cheese!“

“We stopped coming to Cheddars over 5 years ago. The food had gone downhill, the management at that time didn't care and the front desk was completely rude. We decided to give Cheddars another chance so on Friday, day after Thanksgiving, we went in for lunch. Not only was the front desk extremely polite and personable but so was our waiter and all the staff we encountered. The food came out hot and fresh and well prepared. We loved going there and will again.“

“Brass Onion is an awesome restaurant. The food is amazing and the staff is great. I have been there several times and never had a bad experience. There is an exceptional young lady who my guest and I have had the pleasure to serve us named Tianna she is Fabulous and provides phenomenal service. Tianna deserves a BONUS she is one of the reasons I keep going back to the Brass Onion. Plus the good food along with the hospitality of Rob the manager too.“

“The service was friendly, and they brought the food out to the table. Some of the tables were dirty, and I had to look around for a clean one, but that was the only knock I had against the atmosphere. The prices are higher than other fast food places, but they offer a little bit of better quality than other fast food places.“

“Skip all the other chain restaurants on the plaza and hit Rye. Locally owned and located on the country club plaza, Rye is one of the best restaurants in Kansas City. Whether you like cocktails, pie, fried chicken, pastries, or a great steak, this place has it all. One of my favorite atmospheres in Kansas City, top notch service, and food that will want you coming back for more. Bourbon drinker? They have one of the best selections of bourbon in the city. I promise you will not be disappointed after visiting Rye.“

“Look no further for lunch time. Best fried chicken and sides. Always stop here when I'm in the area and they give you your money's worth: loaded plates with two dipping sauces, compared to the usual one from those other places.

“Warm decor and ambience, convivial, round table is great for a group of 6, and we could hear each other! As for the food, hit or miss. My rainbow trout was melted butter (delicious) and his hands hanger steak was perfect. The rest looked ok to m'eh. Desserts big and skippable. Great cocktails and decent wines, so altogether you can have a great night.“
