“Overall a very nice experience, we will return and recommend. A few constructive criticisms. The charcuterie board left us underwhelmed with only 6 slices of salami and 6 cubes of cheese with the rest being filler snacks from Costco, kind of disappointing at $26. I’m an old fashion drinker and a good one in my opinion has house made simple syrup not a cube of sugar. With the nice selection of whiskeys this would really elevate the drinks. The shop is quaint and inviting with lots of history and items to see and buy. If you’ve got kids that can entertain themselves it’s perfectly fine but if you’ve got the kid who needs more variety it could use a little more beyond bags and horseshoes.“

“This is "the place to be" in Hillsdale Kansas. Very friendly people, great service, and cold beer.We had a memorial service for my brother down the street in the cemetery, but the cold wind kinda spoiled that! So we re-gathered at the Hillsdale Tavern over a few adult beverages. We came from Canyon Lake Texas, Texarkana Texas, Whitesboro Texas, Palmyra Missouri, and Boulder Colorado.What a great place for celebrating your brother's life!
